유연하고 얇은 알루미늄 포일을 사용한 다공성 알루미나 막 제작

유연하고 얇은 0.025 mm와 0.2 mm의 두께를 지닌 알루미늄 포일을 사용하여 다공성 알루미나 막을 제작하였다. 알루미늄 포일들은 에탄올/과염소산 용액에서 전해연마하여 표면처리를 하였으며, 0.3 M의 옥살산 용액 안에서 양극산화 시켰다. 양극산학 시용액의 온도는 $9^{\circ}C$로 유지시켰으며, 전극에 가해주는 전압을 0.4와 40 V 사이에서 변화시킨 후, 형성된 알루미나 막의 표면을 주사전자현미경으로 관찰하였다. 관찰 결과, 장시간의 양극 산화 시 사용되는 전압의 크기가 1 V 이상일 경우 강한 전기분해 반응으로 인해 생성된 산화막 표면이 파괴되어 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 반면 1 V 이하로 처리할 경우, 장시간에 걸쳐 안정적으로 양극산화시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이 실험을 통해 얇은 알루미늄 포일의 경우 두꺼운 알루미늄 판과 달리 장시간의 양극산화를 통해 다공성 알루미나 막을 형성하기 위해선 1 V 이하의 낮은 전압이 요구되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. We have fabricated porous aluminum oxide using flexible and thin aluminum foils with thickness of 0.025 and 0.2 mm. These foils were anodized with 0.3 M oxalic acid solution after being electropolished with ethanol/perchloric acid. During the anodization, the temperature of the electrolyte was maintained at $9^{\circ}C$ and the anodization voltage was varied between 0.4 and 40 V The surface of the anodized aluminum oxide was studied with a scanning electron microscope. From the scanning electron micrograph, we observed that when the voltage applied was above 1 V for a long period of time, due to a strong electrolysis reaction in electrolyte, the surface of the anodized oxide was destroyed. However, when the anodization voltage was less than 1 V, the anodization process was very stable and lasted much longer. Our results show that for a thin aluminum foil, unlike a thick plate, one requires small anodization voltage less than 1 V to form a porous aluminum oxide for long anodization time.
흡수제 내부순환형 탈황장치의 SO<sub>2</sub> 제거성능 특성

Three new granular absorbents were prepared from calcium hydroxide, and applied to an FGD process with internal circulation. The aim of the study was finding the most efficient of the these three applied absorbents for the $SO_2$ removal at high flue gas temperatures. The absorbent is fed to the testing unit at high operation temperature and fluidized inside the FGD system where the sorbent particles react with the $SO_2$ gas. The rate of $SO_2$ decomposition was high in C-type absorbent which had the large surface area. De-SOx characteristics of the current absorbents appeared to be similar to the other conventional agents in this fluidized bed combustor. In particular, the optimum de-SOx condition could be achieved at high mole ratios of Ca to S which can reduce the residual $SO_2$.

The purpose of this study are to measure the overall level of consumer consciousness and behavior on environmental problems of high school girl students and to analyze the most influential factors related to the socio-demography and the education on environment. This study also aims at inspiring the students with sound view of environments and furnishing basic data for the development of consumer education program. The researcher used questionnaires on consumer consciousness scale and consumer behavior scale for the purpose of this study. 640 students were surveyed randomly in Kwangju and Clonnam, and 608 questionnaires were selected as final analysis data. Major Findings were as follows: 1. The average score of consumer consciousness and behavior on environmental problems of the high school girls were 86.0 on scale of 110 (72.7 on scale of 100) and 63.3 on scale of 115(43.8 on scale of 100). 2. The consumer consciousness and behavior on environmental problems of the high school girls showed partial differences according to the socio-demography variable. 3. The consumer consciousness and behavior on environmental problems of the high school girls showed partial differences according to the education on environment variables. 4. The consumer behavior on environmental problems had a positive relationship with the consumer consciousness. 5. The most influential variables on the consumer consciousness were necessity of the education on environment, the type of school, region, and monthly allowance money in sequence. And the most influential variables on the consumer behavior were the campaign on environment in home, participation in environment preservation, consciousness of environment, and education experience on environment in sequence.
Chamaecyparis Obtusa Oil이 모발성장관련 효소활성에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Chamaecyparis obtusa oil on the activities of enzyme in an alopecia model of C57BL/6 mice. Six weeks old female mice were divided into 3 groups including normal group (saline), positive control group (3% Minoxidil), and experimental group (3% Chamaecyparis obtusa oil) and they were topically applied to dorsal skin with an amount of 100 ㎕once a day, 6 days a week, for 4 weeks. Hair regrowth was evaluated by both gross observation and the activities of enzyme including ALP, γ-GT. Topical treatment of Chamaecyparis obtusa oil accelerated hair regrowth faster than the other groups. ALP and γ-GT activities after 4 weeks-topical treatment were significantly increased in PC and E groups in comparison with N group (p<0.05). Taken together the results in this study, 3% Chamaecyparis obtusa oil effectively stimulated hair growth in an alopecia animal model and γ-GT activity was well correlated to the degree of hair growth.
