This paper describes polymer cap 0-level packaging of RF devices, which is based on successive wafer scale bonding and debonding techniques. Pre-fabricated benzocyclobutene (BCB) membranes on a carrier wafer were directly transferred onto a target substrate by wafer scale bonding process. Using an anti-adhesion layer of hydrophobic octadecyltrichlorosilane (OTS) self-assembled monolayer (SAM), the carrier wafer was mechanically detached from the membranes without any aggressive etching process. As a result, BCB packaging caps in various sizes have been successfully fabricated on a 3 inch Si substrate. BCB cap deformation by thermal residual stress was investigated using ANSYS simulation and the measured results were in good agreement with the simulated ones. Si3N4 film was deposited on the caps for hermetic sealing and the hermeticity was evaluated by N2 leak test. Finally, the suitability of BCB caps in RF applications was assessed by S-parameter measurement of gold coplanar waveguide (CPW) transmission lines. The insertion loss change by BCB packaging was negligible and the return loss was better than 20 dB from DC to 50 GHz.

본 연구에서는 노약자들의 등산활동 시 많이 사용되는 등산스틱의 안전과 성능의 평가를 위한 등산스틱 시험규격 안을 제안하였다. 연관규격조사, 관련 특허 및 논문 조사, 제품현황조사, 파손사례조사, 전문가조사 등을 통해 9가지 등산스틱 성능(안전)요인을 도출하였으며 이 요인들을 시험하기 위한 규격시험장비 3종(비틀림 및 직진도 시험장비, 내구성 시험장비, 스파이크 및 팁 내구성 시험장비)을 설계․제작하였다. 시험에 사용한 시료는 2014년 9월 네이버 쇼핑 기준 판매순위 상위 브랜드 15개의 일자형 손잡이 제품(각 제품별 6개 시료)을 선정하여 사용하였다. 성능요인에 대한 실제시료시험결과 및 전문가회의를 통해 총 6가지의 시험규격 항목 안(편심하중, 길이조절부 압축, 손목걸이 하중, 바스켓 하중, 스파이크 및 팁 내구성, 등산스틱 당김)을 도출하였다. In this paper, we proposed the standard test specification for safety and function of hiking stick for the elderly. We have concluded nine factors representing specification of hiking stick through analysis of hiking patents and research papers, products survey of business market, case studies for damaged hiking stick and expert surveys. To test the factors, we designed three different kinds of apparatus to examine twist resistance, stick and tip durability and stick straightness. The sample of hiking sticks purchased from market based on Naver sales ranking top to fifteenth. As a result, we concluded six-standard test specification based on eccentric load, adjustable parts load, hand strap load, basket load, tip load and pull load of hiking stick.
Micro Fabrication of Aluminum Oxide Patterns Using Local Anodization

In this study, a novel process for fabricating micro Al2O3 patterns using local anodization is proposed. On the basis of double layer theory, the anodizing region was localized on an aluminum surface near a micro tool electrode with a small inter-electrode gap. The localized oxide formation process was observed by field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) including energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). It was confirmed that micro-scale localized aluminum oxide was fabricated on the aluminum surface. Features of the anodized oxide line were investigated using different ratios of sulfuric and oxalic acid mixtures at various pulse durations and voltage conditions. The experimental results show that an insulating aluminum oxide line pattern was fabricated on 10 µm aluminum foil. Subsequently, a coplanar waveguide (CPW) micro patch antenna was fabricated and characterized by a PNA network analyzer. The local anodization can be used for fabricating micro-electric circuits without masks and substrate; which will promise the next generation of micro electronic devices.
