N/A The vasculopathy is the main complication leading to increased morbidity and mortality in long-standing diabetes, Since the platelets and coagulation system play an important role in the development of atherosclerosis, many studies have been done to elucidate the abnormalities of them without conclusive results. It is partly because of the lacking of definitive parameters demonstrating hypercoagulable state. We studied coagulation system as a whole in diabetes mellitus using thrombelastography which hes been considered simple and reliable method in the examination of coagulation process especially that of hypercoagulable state. In this study, We could conclude that bloods of diabetics with retinopathy were in hypercoagulable state and that the procoagulant substance(s) was present in the blood regardless of retinopathy, and that low dose of aspirin up to ~100 mg had no effect on the coagulation process of diabetics. Further study is warranted to the examination of the nature of procoagulant substances and the determination of optimal dosage of aspirin in diabetics.
확장 유기전력 관측기를 적용한 MTPA 기반의 IPMSM 센서리스 속도 제어 연구

IPMSM(Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor)은 높은 출력 토크와 효율, 광범위한 운전 영역을 가지고 있어 가전용에서 산업용에 이르기까지 여러 영역에서 응용되고 있으며 이에 관한 연구도 활발히 진행되고 있다. IPMSM의 특성상 효율적인 토크를 발생시키기 위해 제어 d축 전류와 q축 전류를 각각 제어해 주어야 한다. IPMSM의 고성능 운전을 위해서 전류 지령치를 어떻게 결정할 것인가는 중용한 문제가 된다. 또한 PMSM(Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor)의 운전을 위해서는 회전자의 위치 정보가 요구되는데 레졸버, 엔코더 등의 센서 사용은 설계의 복잡성과 함께 비용 상승 및 환경에 따라 성능저하의 원인이 된다. 본 논문에서는 id = 0(Zero d-axis Control) 제어보다 전기자 전류에 대하여 가장 효율적인 토크를 발생시키는 MIPA(Maximum Torque per Ampere) 제어를 사용한다. 그리고 기존의 리컨스트럭션을 통한 확장 유기전력 추정 방법보다 강인하고 정밀한, IPMSM 상태 방정식 기반의 확장 유기전력 관측기를 사용하는 선세리스 속도 제어 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이 제어 시스템의 알고리즘은 MATLAB Simulink를 이용하여 모의실험으로 검증하였다.

Objectives : The objective of the paper was to study cutting method of Gardeniae frutus, that tends to show symptom of separations in a packing, in accordance with the comparison experiment of quantification and antioxidant effect proceed with the intact Gardeniae fructus(Gf), seed of Gardeniae fructus (Gs) and the pericarp of Gardeniae fructus (Gp) separately. Methods : The Gf, Gs, and Gp were extracted using 80% MeOH, followed by quantizing geniposide contained in each group. A MTT assay was conducted and ROS generation and NO production were measured for comparing its antioxidant effect. Results : As a result of quantizing geniposide contained in the Gf, Gp, and Gs, respectively, the geniposide content was shown to be the highest in the Gs. MTT assay showed that no cytotoxicity was observed in the groups treated with Gf, Gp, and Gs, respectively, at a dose of 500 μg/ml. The ROS generation was shown to have more significantly decreased in the group pretreated with Gf 500 μg/ml than in the group treated with LPS. The NO level was shown to have more significantly decreased in the group pretreated with Gp 500 μg/ml than in the group treated with LPS. Conclusion : As the geniposide content and antioxidant effect of Gf varies according to its each part, it is recommended that Gf should be distributed as an intact form other than segregation in packing.

Objective: Allergic asthma is a chronic airway disease that affects millions of people in the developed world. The disease is characterized by concurring airway inflammation, Th2 cytokine production, increased mucus secretion, airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR) to inhaled antigen, and pulmonary fibrosis. To investigate the therapeutic and anti-asthmatic effects of Drynariae Rhizoma (DR), we examined the influence of DR on the development of pulmonary eosinophilic inflammation and airway hyperresponsiveness in a mouse model of allergic asthma. Methods: In this study, BALB/c mice were systemically sensitized to ovalbumin (OVA) followed intratracheally, intraperitoneally, and by aerosol allergen challenges. We investigated the effect of DR on airway hyperresponsiveness, pulmonary eosinophilic infiltration, various immune cell phenotypes, Th2 cytokine production and OVA specific IgE production in a mouse model of asthma. Results: In asthmatic mice, we found that DR-treated groups had suppressed eosinophil infiltration, allergic airway inflammation and AHR by suppressing the production of IL-5, IL-13 and OVA specific IgE. Conclusions: Our data suggest that the therapeutic mechanism by which DR effectively treats asthma is based on reductions of Th2 cytokines (IL-5), eotaxin, OVA-specific IgE production and eosinophil infiltration.
