Today, customers consider engaging in an environmentally friendly behavior and healthy food. Due to this reason, fast food corporate endeavors diverse ways such as CSR activities, new manus. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effects of environmental corporate social responsibility (CSR) (ethical responsibility, environmental responsibility and well-being responsibility) on perceived service quality and brand image, as well as relationships among perceived service quality, brand image, trust, loyalty for fast food restaurant. The study is quantitative in nature, using the responses of 51 university students for pre-test. The data analysis is performed by AMOS 18. A survey was used to evaluate how CSR influences customer perceptions of the service quality in fast-food restaurants and brand image as well as the effect of trust on loyalty. Confirmatory factor analysis including second-order confirmatory factor were used to assess the reliability and validity of constructs. Structural equation modeling was employed to assess the hypothesized relationships among CSR, perceived service quality, brand image, trust, loyalty. The study proposes that CSR has a positive effect on perceived service quality, but doesn’t have a positive effect on brand image. The implications of this study highlight the importance of managing CSR for corporations that intend to enhance perceive service quality and brand image. Therefore, fast food firms should consider how CSR activities in connection with corporate goal practice effectively and strategically as well as make the restaurant managers understand the relative importance of each of these elements. This paper is one of the first to highlight the effects of CSR for fast food restaurant as well as relationships among perceived service quality, brand image, trust and loyalty.

<P>This paper presents a new sealing method for soft polymer (elastomer) microchips. A robust and reversible sealing method, which allows various materials to be bonded and sealed tightly with each other even in aqueous solutions, is developed. A poly (dimethylsiloxane) microchip system, which can actively generate bonding and sealing forces by itself, is invented. By inducing negative pressure into additional closed areas, an instant sucking disc is made. This disc is used to tighten up the conformal contact of soft polymers. Other functionalities of active sealing such as making reusable microchips, patterning cells and performing cellular assays in a single dish have also been examined and will be discussed hereunder. This technique gives a robust and universal solution for microchip sealing issues by sealing soft polymers with diverse materials under various conditions. Active sealing will simplify numerous assays in lab-on-a-chip industry and will open a new era for cellular microchip assays.</P>

Loss of Coolant Accident Analysis During Shutdown Operation of YGN Units 3/4

A thermal-hydraulic analysis is conducted on the loss-of-coolant-accident (LOCA) during shutdown operation of YGN Units 3/4. Based on the review of plant-specific characteristics of YGN Units 3/4 in design and operation, a set of analysis cases is determined, and predicted by the RELAP5/MOD3.2 code during LOCA in the hot-standby mode. The evaluated thermal-hydraulic phenomena are blowdown, break flow, inventory distribution, natural circulation, and core thermal response. The difference in thermal-hydraulic behavior of LOCA at shutolown condition from that of LOCA at full power is identified as depressurization rate, the delay in peak natural circulation timing and the loop seal clearing (LSC) timing. In addition, the effect of high pressure safety injection (HPSI) on plant response is also evaluated. The break spectrum analysis shows that the critical break size can be between 1% to 2% of cold leg area, and that the available operator action time for the Sl actuation and the margin in the peak clad temperature (PCT) could be reduced when considering uncertainties of the present RELAP5 calculation.
Evaluation of Post-LOCA Long Term Cooling Performance in Korean Standard Nuclear Power Plants

The post-LOCA long term cooling (LTC) performance of the Korean Standard Nuclear Power Plant (KSNPP) is analyzed for both small break loss-of-coolant accidents (LOCA) and large break LOCA at cold leg. The RELAP5/MOD3.2.2 beta code is used to calculate the LTC sequences based on the LTC plan of the Korean Standard Nuclear Power Plants (KSNPP). A standard input model is developed such that LOCA and the followed LTC sequence can be calculated in a single run for both small break LOCA and large break LOCA. A spectrum of small break LOCA ranging from \ulcorner.02 to 0.5 k2 of break area and a double-ended guillotine break are analyzed. Through the code calculations, the thermal-hydraulic behavior and the boron behavior are evaluated and the effect of the important action including the safety injection tank (SIT isolation and the simultaneous injection in LTC procedure is investigated. As a result, it is found that the sufficient margin is available in avoiding the boron precipitation in the core. It is also found that a further specific condition for the SIT isolation action need to be setup and it is recommended that the early initiation of the simultaneous injection be taken for larger break LTC sequences.

To evaluate the sequence of event and the Thermohydraulic behavior during total loss of feedwater accident and recovery procedure, a RELAP5/MOD3 calculation is performed and compared with the LOFT L9-l/L3-3 experiment. Also, the predictability of the code for the major Thermohydraulic phenomena following the accident is assessed. As a result, it is found that a pressure control using the spray until the time the water level reaches the top of the pressurizer, an overpressure protection by pressurizer PORV, a recovery of the secondary heat removal capability by refilling steam generator, and an effective cooldown by the continued natural circulation can be performed without core uncovery. It is also found that the plant-specific evaluation is necessary to confirm the effectiveness of the current symptom-oriented emergency operating procedure, especially in an overpressure protection performance and steam generator recovery performance.

A three-dimensional discrete fracture network model was developed in order to simulate the hydraulic characteristics of a granitic rock mass at Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) Underground Research Tunnel (KURT). The model used a three-dimensional discrete fracture network (DFN), assuming a correlation between the length and aperture of the fractures, and a trapezoid flow path in the fractures. These assumptions that previous studies have not considered could make the developed model more practical and reasonable. The geologic and hydraulic data of the fractures were obtained in the rock mass at the KURT. Then, these data were applied to the developed fracture discrete network model. The model was applied in estimating the representative elementary volume (REV), the equivalent hydraulic conductivity tensors, and the amount of groundwater inflow into the tunnel. The developed discrete fracture network model can determine the REV size for the rock mass with respect to the hydraulic behavior and estimate the groundwater flow into the tunnel at the KURT. Therefore, the assumptions that the fracture length is correlated to the fracture aperture and the flow in a fracture occurs in a trapezoid shape appear to be effective in the DFN analysis used to estimate the hydraulic behavior of the fractured rock mass.

Cutaneous, subcutaneous and systemic infection can be developed by genus Exophiala which is characterized by annellidic conidiogenesis. To identify genus Exophiala, morphological examination has proved unreliable in differentiation. The advent of gene sequencing technique including the analysis of sequence of the rDNA internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region and ITS-RFLP analysis permitted much more differentiation of genus Exophiala. Although a few cases of Exophiala (E.) spinifera infection identified by molecular techniques as well as morphological features have also been reported in the world, there was no one in Korea. An 89-year-old female presented a tender, dark gray, scaly and verrucous plaque measuring 3 cm in diameter on the right wrist for several months. She has been infected with HIV. The lesion occurred after traumatic injury. There were pseudohyphae on KOH preparation and dark black, velvety colony on fungal culture using potato dextrose agar. On lactophenol cotton blue stain, there were long annellophores and annelloconidia. Skin biopsy showed dark brown yeast-like fungal elements and granulomatous infiltration in the dermis. Also, the sequencing analysis of the ITS region of rDNA identified E. spinifera depending on GenBank BLAST. The lesions have been resolving by oral fluconazole 50 mg qd for 3 months. We report a case with phaeohyphomycosis caused by E. spinifera newly identified in Korea.
