쉐올 모티프 (Sheol Motif)에 관한 기독교교육적 접근

The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning of "Sheol Motif' on the basis of christian religious education. In a way Bible and theology, "Sheol" has vague and ambiguity in definition of a notion and its conception has problems in difficulties finding the exact meaning. In which, vague and ambiguity is due to the point that the usage of "Sheol" expressed in the Bible has a characteristic possible to be translated into the various meaning. Comprehension on "Sheol" in the way of Bible and theology could be divided into literal, symbolic and conditional views. But symbolic opinion is more persuasive than local and geological concept in consideration of the relation, "Sitz im Leben", in which usage of "Sheol" on a Bible is expressed. In this conference, symbolic and psychological meaning "Sheol" has, in other words a characteristic "Sheol Motif' has, could be considered in three points. First, "Sheol Motif' reflects insecure states in physical constitution, emotion and existence. Second, it reflects the hope for improvement of relationship with God and plays a role of execution as a remedical process to a way of the matured faith. Third, in a view of Jesus Christ decend to "Sheol", "Sheol Motif" urges on the social responsibility of Christians. These three characteristics of "Sheol Motif" is reconstituted by ①Religious education and problem of Anxious experience, ②Religious education and problem of Conversion, ③Religious education and problem of social responsibility. First of all, Religious Anxiety in education field of Christianity needs in their contents especially in an approach of religious education for anxious experience. In short, a threat of non-Being cannot help existing inevitably in our life, leading students at religious educational course to recognize anxious experience which results in requirement for including reconstitution of existential experience as the curriculums on religious education. It is considered by four things in an approach of religious education for Conversion. ①it needs to consist of the programs on religious education and teaching-learning process in view of recognition on the variety of conversion. ②we should consider of relationship between procedure of conversion and religious mature. ③it requires for self-reflection education, making Christians able to take steps on psychological conflicts after conversion. ④it demands of critical reflection on the educational environment of faith community which is directly related with conversion. In an approach of religious education for social responsibility start disputes by consideration of munus triplex of Christ in "Sheol". It is materialized by discussion about praxis relationship of church and society, making it possible to the meaning of religious education in need of constituting concrete contents of the education on which represents the liberty and responsibility through the construction of reliable society, an history change possibly leading to experience of liberation and reconcilication and an execution of sharing affection. In this line, the discussion of religious education on "Sheol Motif' is a kind of an identity responsible to respond on life and raises again the requirements for the development and application of variously educational program on believing, trusting and doing. And it is in a basis of holistic comprehension on the concept of faith in an educational field of Christainity.
