This study was carried out to survey hemiplegics' bilateraql distribution of skin temperature and to learn hemiplegics' skin temperature, and furthermore to furnish basic data to the suitable wearing standard and the clothing design for handicapped persons. The skin-temperature of each region, physioogical and psychological reactions for mild hemiplegics, severe hemiplegics and normal men were measured and investigated about skin temperature mainly.
    1. The skin temperature distributions of normal side for hemiplegics and normal subjects were same each other, and the range of them were in order of severe hemiplegics 〉mild hemiplegics 〉normal men.
    2. The skin temperature of paralysis side of subjects were high in order of severe hemiplegics 〉mild hemiplegics 〉normal men, and the difference between hemiplegics' and normal men' in the terminal parts of limbs was larger than that in the trunk.
    3. The mean skin temperatures of both side were high in order of severe hemiplegics 〉mild hemiplegics 〉normal men, and the normal men's were within but hemiplegics' were out of the comfortable-limits.
    4. The skin temperature difference between the left and the right side of subjects were high in order of severe hemiplegics 〉mild hemiplegics 〉normal men, and those in the terminal parts of limbs were larger than that in the trunk. Especially, the regions which had large difference much more than 1℃ were the foot, the antero finger and the buttock of hemiplegics.
    5. The body temperature, blood pressure and pulse of hemiplegics were within the normal range but slightly higher than normal men.
    6. The thermal sensation of hemiplegics was different little from that of normal men but the comfort sensation of hemiplegics and normal subjects were expressed as "uncomfortable" and "comfortable" respectively.
