초등학생이 지각한 교사행동과 학교생활 만족도와의 관계 = The Relationships Between Teacher Behaviors and Children's Satisfaction on Their School Lives

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to find out the desirable teacher's behavior by studying the relationship between teacher's behavior that the elementary school students have perceived, and the students' satisfaction on their school lives. The research problems were what were the relationships between teacher's behavior perceived by elementary school students and the student's satisfaction level on their school lives. The sample of the study consisted of 300 students in three elementary schools in the sixth grade living in Gwang-ju city. SAS (Statistical Analysis System) statistical software was applied for the analysis of the survey data.
The results of the study can be summarized as follows. It has shown that the relationship between the teacher's behavior perceived by students and the student's satisfaction on their school lives is relatively high. It is revealed that the student's satisfaction increases in their school lives as they perceive the teacher's behavior in a positive manner. The student's satisfaction in their school lives goes high, as they perceive that their teacher provide the feedback, higher expectation, more opportunities, more choices and supportive help. On the other hand, teacher's negative feedback and teacher's directive behaviors related with the lower satisfaction on children's school lives.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 교사가 아동과의 상호작용 중에 보여준 행동과 태도를 아동이 지각한 바에 따라서 아동의 학교생활에 대한 만족 여부에 어떻게 영향을 미치고 있는지를 파악하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 초등학교 6학년생 300명을 대상으로 아동이 지각한 교사행동과 아동의 학교생활 만족도에 대한 검사지를 이용하여 설문조사를 실시하고 데이터를 도출하였다. 상관관계 및 회귀분석의 통계기법을 적용하여 분석한 결과, 교사행동은 아동의 전체 학교생활 만족에 영향을 미치는 요인인 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 교사의 긍정적인 피드백 제공과 지시적 행동, 학생에 대한 기대와 학업 기회 및 선택의 기회를 제공하는지의 여부가 아동의 학교생활에 대한 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인인 것으로 나타났다.
