얼굴 형태와 두상에 따른 샤기와 스트록 커트에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Shaggy & Stroke Cut Hairstyles According to Facial Appearances and Head Shapes

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 샤기&스트록 커트 헤어스타일을 얼굴형과 두상형태에 가장 이상적인 이미지를 선정하여, 헤어커트의 객관화되고 체계화된 결과를 도출하고, 표준이 되는 두상과 얼굴형에 대하여 직접 시술 하여 만족도를 조사함으로써 차별화되고 체계화된 샤기&스트록 헤어커트를 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 2010년 3월부터 3주 동안 실무에 종사하고 있는 전문가 집단(135명)과 서울 및 경기도권의 20대에서 50대의 일반인 집단(125명)으로 나누어 설문을 실시하여 그 중 가장 선호도가 높은 헤어스타일을 선정, 이를 5명의 모델에게 시술 한 후 만족도를 평가하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 샤기&스트록 커트에 대한 이해도 및 인식과 얼굴형과 두상형태에 대한 인지도를 알아본 결과 전문가에 비해 일반인들은 커트에 대한 인식이 낮은 것으로 나타났고, 커트시술 후 헤어스타일과 얼굴형이 어울리는 정도에 대해서는 만족도가 그리 높은 수준은 아닌 것으로 보인다. 둘째, 얼굴형과 두상형태에 따른 샤기&스트록 커트의 유형별 헤어스타일 선호도에 대한 이미지 분석 결과를 보면, 전문가와 일반인 모두 둥근형의 롱헤어 스타일을 가장 이상적이라고 평가했다. 셋째, 둥근형의 롱헤어 스타일의 샤기&스트록 커트를 모델5명에게 직접 시술을 통해 만족도 분석을 한 결과, 전문가와 일반인 모두 시술 전에 비해서 시술 후의 만족도가 매우 높게 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to present a discriminated and systematized shaggy and stroke cut hair style of which image was most appropriate and ideal for facial appearances and head shapes. Study findings are as follows:First, as for the understanding and perception of shaggy and stroke cuts and the awareness of facial appearances and head shapes, comparing to specialists, general people's awareness of the cut was low. As for the most ideal facial appearance, a 90.0% of respondents answered that it was an egg-shaped face. As for the harmony of hair styles with facial appearances after the procedure of the cut, a 36.2% of respondents answered that they were satisfied with it. Therefore, post-cut satisfaction was not high.
Second, the results of image analysis about the preference of shaggy and stroke cut hair styles according to facial appearances and head shapes presented that both specialists and general people preferred a round type long-hair style.
Third, the investigator first-hand applied a round-type long-hair style shaggy & stroke cut procedure, the most preferred hair style, to 5 round-type long-hair models and then examined their satisfaction with it in relation to an objective facial appearance and head shape. Results showed that specialists and general people alike were highly satisfied with the procedure of the cut.
In conclusion, in order to enhance the satisfaction with the procedure of haircut, it is necessary to research and develop materials that can be used as textbooks or teaching materials by means of measuring and examining images through systematic and objective data or computer graphics and then present a hair style that is appropriate for individual facial appearances and head shapes. In this vein, many follow-up studies on the strategy of enhancing the satisfaction of working-level specialists and general people alike with the cut procedures must be carried out in the future.
