동료 슈퍼비전 관련 국외 연구 동향 = Overseas Research Trends Related to Peer Supervision

국문 초록 (Abstract)

목적 본 연구는 동료 슈퍼비전 관련 국외 연구 동향을 살펴봄으로써 동료 슈퍼비전 연구 현황을 파악하고, 국내의 동료 슈퍼비전연구 활성화를 위한 시사점을 모색하고자 하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
방법 학술 DB 검색엔진에서 ‘동료 슈퍼비전(peer supervision)’과 관련한 용어를 교차 검색하고, 이를 3차에 걸쳐 검토한 결과, 최종 160편을 분석 대상으로 선정하였다. 본 연구에서는 연도별, 연구 방법별(양적 연구, 질적 연구, 혼합 연구, 문헌 연구), 운영별(인원, 시간), 연구 장면별(교육, 보건의료, 사회복지) 등 네 가지 측면에서 연구 동향을 분석하였다.
결과 첫째, 연도별로 살펴볼 때 1962년부터 2021년까지 일부 특정 연도를 제외하고 매년 1회 이상의 연구가 진행된 것으로 나타났다. 10년 주기로 보면 2010년대의 연구 비율이 가장 높았다(32.5%). 둘째, 연구 방법으로는 질적 연구(41.9%)가 가장 높게 나타났고, 문헌 연구(28.1%), 양적 연구(18.7%), 혼합 연구(11.3%) 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 운영별 연구 현황에서는 3~9명을 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많았고(37.4%), 슈퍼비전 시간은 50분 초과~90분 이하에 대한 연구가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다(53.0%). 넷째, 연구 장면에서는 특정 분야를 구분하기 어려운 ‘기타’를 제외하고는 교육분야 연구가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났으며(38.1%), 보건의료 및 사회복지 분야에서의 연구도 확인되었다.
결론 동료 슈퍼비전 관련 국외 연구는 1960년대 초반부터 2021년 현재까지 꾸준히 진행되고 있음에도 불구하고 활발히 진행되고있지는 않다. 질적 연구의 비중이 양적 연구보다 높았으며, 연구 대상자는 주로 10명 이하의 소수로 구성되었다. 연구 장면에서는초, 중등학교와 대학교의 교육 현장이 중심을 이루었고, 보건의료, 사회복지 등 다양한 장면에서도 연구가 진행되었다.
