포스트휴먼 담론과 ‘인간-이후’ 한국시의 한 가능성 －김혜순의 『피어라 돼지』(2016)와 『날개 환상통』(2019)에 대한 포스트-휴먼적 읽기

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In recent debates in humanities, “human being” is described as a target to overcome. Citing Michel Foucault’s argument, the current situation can be summarized as dissolution of “anthropology”. A series of discourses that are cited as an important issue in humanities and literary researches these days take critical attitude toward the modern concept of “human”. Anthropocene, posthumanism, transhumanism, and cognitive science as well as Derrida’s philosophy on animal-others, Deleuze’s “becoming-animal”, Donna Haraway’s “A Cyborg Manifesto”, and Agamben’s “Beyond the Threshold of Deconstruction” are respresentative examples. According to their argument, the concept of “human” that supports modern humanism is based on wrongful ontological difference with others or animals. The “posthuman” literature that this article sheds light on refers to literature after the humanism and literary trend that actively contemplates on the ontological meaning of things that the existing literature have been excluding for the purpose of advocating “human”.
Following this trend, science fiction literature, cyborg, and gender are gaining major attention lately in the field of novels. Meanwhile, “animal” has become a significant issue in the case of poetry. This article focuses on Kim Hye-soon’s recently published poetry works because they intensively pose problems regarding “animal”. This article focuses on 『Blossom, Pig』(2016) and 『Wing Phantom Pain』(2019). In 『Blossom, Pig』, the fact that the voice of the narrator belongs to a “pig-human” deserves attention. It does not come from “human” nor does it come from “pig”. The poem radically differs from “animal poems” that use “animal” as a material as the former contains the voice of a composite of “human” and “animal”, in other words, voice of an unfamiliar existence, that formed blocks in vertical and cross-sectional manner. In 『Wing Phantom Pain』, Kim demonstrates a new ontology by juxtaposing the experience of creation that reveals existence through the other’s voice with the shape of “human” born through “bird”. Different from “pig” in 『Blossom, Pig』, however, “bird” is presented in a form of “others” in this poem, rather than a specific subject. Hence, the bird varies in diverse symbols or signified. Kim Hye-soon’s recent poetical works suggest existential debate on others through this tendency. The shape of “animal” that Kim proposes is highly important in the context that it shows a possibility of posthuman poetry.
