수줍음이 친구관계 질의 하위 요인을 매개로 외로움에 미치는 영향 = 초등학교 5, 6학년 남녀를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 초등학생을 대상으로 수줍음이 친구관계 질의 하위 요인을 매개로 하여 외로움에 영향을 미치는 지를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구를 위해 서울에 소재한 두 초등학교의 5, 6학년 학생들을 대상으로, 위계적 회귀분석을 사용하여 매개효과를 검증하였다. 409개(남: 199명)의 자료를 분석한 결과, 남아의 경우 친구관계 질의 정서적 안정/도움/인정이 수줍음과 외로움의 관계를 부분 매개하였고, 여아의 경우 정서적 안정/도움/인정 요인과 교제의 즐거움 요인이 수줍음과 외로움의 관계를 부분 매개하였다. 이는 수줍은 아동이 지각할 수 있는 외로움을 감소시키기 위해서 친구와의 상호작용 양상을 고려해야 하며, 성별에 따라 차별적으로 개입할 필요성을 시사한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study tested the mediating role of friendship quality sub-factors on the relationship of shyness and loneliness. Data from four hundred and nine 5th and 6th grade students(boys = 199) were analyzed. The results revealed that the emotional stableness/help/recognition factor partially mediated the relationship between boys' shyness and loneliness. The emotional stableness/help/recognition and pleasure factors functioned as significant partial mediators that accounted for the relationship between girls' shyness and loneliness. The results suggest that sub-factors of friendship quality need to be taken into account for us to better understand shyness and loneliness, and that different interventions according to gender are needed.
