자기자비가 타인의 안녕에 대한 관심에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

자기자비는 타인의 안녕에 대한 관심과 관련될 것으로 가정되나, 이에 대한 경험적 연구가 부족하였다. 본 연구에서는 자기자비가 자비적 사랑, 연대감, 공감과 같은 타인의 안녕에 대한 관심에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설을 검증하고자 하였다. 또한 복종 및 자기희생 도식과 인상관리를 통제변인으로, 연령을 조절변인으로 고려하여 자기자비와 자비적 사랑, 연대감 및 공감의 관계를 명확히 하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 성인 남녀 258명에게 자기자비, 자비적 사랑, 연대감 및 공감, 복종 및 자기희생 도식, 인상관리 측정치를 수집하였다. 그 결과 자기자비는 인상관리, 복종 및 자기희생 도식, 연령을 통제하고도 자비적 사랑, 연대감, 인지적 및 정서적 공감에 영향을 미쳤다. 그러나, 자기자비와 타인의 안녕에 대한 관심 간의 관계에서 연령의 조절효과는 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 기여와 추후연구를 위해 고려할 사항을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigated the effect of self-compassion on compassion for others considering for subjugation schema, self-sacrifice schema, impression management and age. The scales measuring self-compassion, compassionate love, cooperativeness, empathy, impression management, subjugation schema and self-sacrifice schema were administered to 258 adults from online bulletin board of offline university or cyber university. The results show that self-compassion was related to compassionate love, cooperativeness and empathy after controlling for both schema and impression management. However, effect of age between self-compassion and connectedness was not significant. Lastly, contributions, limitation and suggestions for future research of this study were discussed.
