신체어를 통한 국어 어휘교육 연구 방안

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

We should enrich lexicon item both in quality and in quantity to communicate naturally and therefore systematic education on lexical item should be supported. However, the lexicon education methodology has not been accomplished yet. Traditional lexicon education methods can not activate learner's thought and has been limited to teachers' one sided presentation. To accomplish the systematic lexicon education, the process and the learner-centered education should be considered as important matters.
The body of this research examines concrete lexicon teaching methodology with body words from cognitive point of view. The body-word is a lexicon item which presents organs of the body and it doesn't change easily. It is the Korean basic lexicon item which is used in daily life and is used for metaphor and the official language. Besides, it could be recognized by anyone. Teachers can arouse students' interest using these body words.
This research is focused on lexicon education methodology with body-words based on the 7th middle school curriculum. The body of this research is as follows.
Chapter 2 is dealt with lexical items, theories, and methodology and include recommendation. Chapter 3 is dealt with several types of body-words and meaning expansion both on the word-level and phrase level and above. On chapter 4, teaching and learning models and lesson plans are introduced.
This research introduces several methodology on lexicon education focused on body word. However, this is not enough and more research should be followed. I hope other lexicon teaching methodology is used for lexicon education and more studies about lexicon as well as body words are accomplished.
