코다이 교수법을 이용한 한국 민요 지도 방법에 관한 연구 : 중학교 3학년 가창 제재곡을 중심으로|RISS 상세보기

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Music had been very close to all people's mind and behavior. Through music lesson, we will continuously teach the students about the attitude to respect our culture.
The subject of this study is to propose the efficient teaching method of Korean Traditional song, based on Professor Kodaly study. Professor Kodaly study is to emphasize the needs of traditional music song by own language, and also to teach the student about the attitude to respect own culture. Traditional music will be easily absorbed to teenager who is sensitive and vulnerable, and this will help them to be more proud of own country, own blood.
In Year 2007 new curriculum, it emphasize the education of Korean Traditional music. However, music is not only minor subject to teach but also Korean traditional music is out of interest. So in school, they only teach some classic music from foreign countries. Most students consider that music is in boundary of classic music and itself is very boring and dull. The truth is that Korean education is only focused on university entrance and we treat Korean traditional music as the least important. Now it's time to let students know how Korean traditional song was developed and progressed. We will propose the method through music lesson.
We studied Professor Kodaly's life & philosophy, and also found out how to apply his study in real lessons. We made a teaching guideline for song 'Han O-bak-Nyun' (Korean East Traditional song), based on Kodaly study. This guideline is focused on activity of singing, playing, creating, listening which were proposed in 7th Curriculum, rather than just lesson of theory and singing. Also this guideline helps to practice in part of activity, understanding, living as well.
If this method follows correctly, this will give the chance to participate in more activity for traditional music and students will be more interested in traditional music as well. Based on this method, we need to organize various musical study program and training for better understanding & attention. It's music teachers' tasks to continuously study and maintain our culture.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

음악은 모든 민족의 사상과 행동양식에 쉽고 가깝게 접근할 수 있는 특징이 있다. 음악수업을 통하여 학생들에게 우리의 문화를 존중하는 태도를 형성시키는 것은 음악수업의 끊임없는 과제일 것이다.
이 연구의 목적은 코다이 교수법을 토대로 국악 교육의 효과적인 학습 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 코다이 교수 방법은 모국어를 바탕으로 한 모국 음악 교육의 필요성을 강조하고, 각 나라의 민요를 통하여 학생들에게 자국문화를 존중하는 태도를 형성하도록 하였다. 이것은 음악적 감수성이 예민한 청소년기에 조상들의 음악과 감정이 용해되어 있는 우리나라 전통 음악을 통하여 내 나라, 내 민족에 대한 동질성과 우리 음악에 대한 자긍심을 느낄 수 있도록 도와준다.
2007년 개정교육과정에서도 국악 지도를 더욱 강조하고 있으나, 현실에서는 사회는 물론 학교 교육에 있어서도 음악 교육 자체가 소홀하게 다루어지고, 그중에서도 국악에 대한 교육은 완전히 도외시 되고 있으며 서양음악의 일부분만을 교육하고 있다. 대부분의 학생들은 음악이라 하면 서양음악을 말하는 것으로 인식하고 있을 뿐, 우리의 음악을 재미없다고 하거나 지루해 한다. 입시 위주의 교육으로 학생이나 교사들에게 음악수업의 중요도는 더욱 낮아지고 소외당하고 있는 것이 현재 국악교육의 현실이다. 이러한 현실 속에서 우리나라의 민요가 어떻게 형성되고 발전되어 왔는지를 알리는 것은 무엇보다도 자라나는 청소년들에게 음악수업을 통하여 제시 되어야 한다.
본 연구에서는 코다이의 생애와 철학을 연구하고 교수법의 이론적 배경을 통하여 실제 수업에서 어떻게 적용되는지를 알아보았다. 우리나라 동부민요 ？한오백년？에 코다이 교수법을 적용하여 수업지도안을 작성하였는데, 이것은 국악 수업 지도에 단순히 이론이나 노래 부르기 위주의 학습보다는 7차 교육과정에 제시되어 있는 가창, 기악, 창작, 감상의 활동영역을 중심으로 전개되어 있고, 나아가 2007 개정교육과정에 제시된 활동, 이해, 생활화 영역까지도 적용될 수 있도록 작성되었다.
이와 같은 방법을 제시함으로써 교육현장에 필요한 전통 음악 지도가 더욱 활성화 된다면 전통음악의 수업 진행이 원활하여 수업에 대한 학생의 흥미와 참여도가 더욱 높아질 것이다. 이 지도방안을 바탕으로 하여 학생들이 국악에 대한 관심과 이해를 높일 수 있도록 음악수업에서 다양한 음악적 연구와 학습내용의 구성이 필요하다. 세계화 시대를 살아가는 현대인들에게 우리의 문화가 잊혀지지 않도록 음악수업을 하는 교사들은 끊임없이 연구해야 하겠다.
