학대와 따돌림이 청소년기 우울과 공격성에 영향을 미치는 경로 = 성별 차이를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

학대와 따돌림 피해와 관련하여 청소년이 경험하는 부정적 반응 중 대표적인 것은 우울과 공격성이다. 이러한 우울과 공격성을 완화시키기 위해서는 학대와 따돌림의 경로에서 영향을 미칠 수 있는 요인들의 매개효과를 검증해 볼 필요가 있다. 또한 이러한 경로가 성별에 따라 다를 수 있음에 주목하여 학업성취와 문제해결능력 등의 매개변수를 투입한 우울과 공격성에 영향을 미치는 경로모형에서 성별차이를 검증해 보았다. 한국아동청소년종합실태조사 자료와 구조방정식모형을 활용하여 분석한 결과, 학업성취와 문제해결능력은 경로모형에서 부분 매개되는 것으로 나타났다. 다중집단 분석결과, 학대와 따돌림이 공격성에 영향을 미치는 경로와 따돌림이 우울에 영향을 미치는 경로 등 에서 성별 차이가 나타났다. 공격성에 대한 영향 경로는 남학생이 여학생보다 높았고, 우울에 대한 영향 경로는 여학생이 남학생보다 높았다. 성별에 따라 상이한 결과에 근거하여 청소년복지의 실천적, 정책적 함의를 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Child abuse by parents and school bullying by peers are increasingly recognized as serious problems internationally. Depression and aggression have been found to be the most common correlates of child abuse and school bullying. Understanding these processes is important for the development of intervention programs to mitigate both depression and aggression. The purpose of this study is two?fold: to assess the effects of problem?solving ability and academic achievement as mediators in the pathways from child abuse and school bullying to depression and aggression; and to assess the differences in gender in the pathways. The major findings are as follows. First, problem?solving ability and academic achievement are partially mediated in the pathways from abuse and bullying to depression and aggression. Second, the differences in gender are confirmed in multi?group analysis. The path coefficients of abuse and bullying to aggression are higher for male students than for female students. In contrast, the path coefficient of bullying to depression is higher for female students than male students. Based on the results of this study, the most effective interventions will be those which are designed to reflect these differences in gender.
