여대생의 우울과 모자화 반응특성과의 관계 = The relationship between female college students' depression and their mother and child drawings

In this study, female college students' degree of depression depending on their attachment types was investigated. Also, the relationship between their degree of depression and their mother and child drawings was investigated. 516 female students attending universities in Daegu and Geyongbuk province participated in this study. The study instruments included an adult attachment scale and depression scale. Correlation analysis and one-way ANOVA were used to analyze the data statistically. First, the participants' degree of depression was significantly correlated with their attachment types. The steady type showed a lower degree of depression than did the obsession, refusal, and fear type. The obsession and refusal type showed a higher degree of depression than the steady type, but a lower degree of depression than the fear type. The fear type showed a significantly higher degree of depression than the steady, obsession, and refusal type. Second, as to the relationship between the participants' mother and child drawings and their degree of depression, the subscores including those of facial expressions and physical contact were negatively correlated with depression. The eye contact scores showed no significant correlation with depression. Third, differences were found between the groups in the relationship between the participants' mother and child drawings and their degree of depression; In the scores of mother and child drawings, the normal group showed significantly lower depression scores than the less normal group. These findings suggest that mother and child drawings can be an indicator of the female college students' degree of depression. More studies of this kind need to be conducted with participants in various areas

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 여대생의 애착 유형에 따른 우울의 정도를 확인해 본 후 우울과 모자화의 반응특성에 차이가 있는지를 알아본 것이다. 이를 위해 대구, 경북의 A시와 K시에 소재한 대학의 여대생 516명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 측정도구는 모자화와 성인애착척도지, 우울 척도지를 사용하였고, 자료를 분석하기 위해 상관분석과 일원변량분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여대생의 애착유형에 따른 우울은 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 안정형은 집착형, 거부형, 두려움형보다 우울수준이 낮은 것으로, 집착형과 거부형은 안정형보다는 우울수준이 높고 두려움형보다는 우울수준이 낮은 것으로. 두려움형은 안정형, 집착형, 거부형보다 우울수준이 높은 것으로 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 여대생의 모자화점수와 우울 간의 상관관계에서는 하위점수인 표정점수와 신체접촉점수는 부적상관계를 보이고 눈맞춤점수와는 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계가 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 여대생의 모자화점수에 따른 우울은 차이가 있었다. 모자화점수에서 보통집단이 약간 불량집단보다 우울점수가 낮은 것으로 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과로 볼 때 모자화로 여대생의 우울을 확인할 수 있었다는 점에 의의가 있고. 향후 다양한 지역의 대상자들을 대상으로 지속적인 연구가 이루어져야 할 것으로 생각된다
