합성어 구조 유형에 관한 연구 : 학습 현장에서의 어휘지도를 중심으로 = (A) Study on Patterns of the Compound-Word Structure

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this study is to increase the command of languages and to enrich the extensive vocabulary, by studying the patterns of types and meanings of syntactic word-combination and various phenomena of phonological word-structure, which have the relationship of syntactic structure to the morphological characteristics formed by the inner combination of compound words for studying them in the Korean language textbooks in middle schools.
In Chapter One, the relation between single words, derivative words, phrases and compound words has been made clear through the basic concept of word-structure. And the specification of the word-meaning has been examined by defining the concept and category of compound words with the new rules of the word-making.
In Chapter Two, the types of compounding have been studied, which are divided into object and predicative structure, subject and predicative structure, complement and predicative structure, modificative structure, conjunctive structure, and repetitive structure.
In Chapter Three, the phenomena of phonological change have been observed and classified into phonemic dropping, phonemic addition and phonemic transition.
In Chapter Four, the effective teaching method has been applied to teaching vacabulary, by making the associable word-group, using the associable method in the word-list of compound words.
