대학생의 진로 장애와 대학 적응의 관계에 대한 진로 몰입 및 진로 적응성의 매개 효과 = Mediation of College Students’ Commitment to Career and Career Adaptability in the Relation between Career Barrier and College Adaptation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined the effects of college students’ career barrier on college adaptation through the mediation of commitment to career and career adaptation. The data were collected from 223 college students using a survey and were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. Fit indices of the proposed path analytic model were good. Results are as follows. First, there were significant correlations between primary variables of interest such as career barrier, college adaptation, commitment to career, and career adaptability. Second, career adaptation and commitment to career had significant effects on college adaptation and also they had full mediation effects on the relation between career barrier and college adaptation. That is, career barrier indirectly influences college adaptation through career adaptation and commitment to career. These results indicate that commitment to career and career adaptability play important roles in the process where college students’ experience of career barrier affects their adaptability to school.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생들의 진로장애가 진로몰입과 진로적응성을 매개로 대학 적응에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 충남의 한 대학에 재학 중인 대학생 223명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였으며 수집된 자료는 Spss 18.0과 Amos 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 설정한 가설 모형 중 완전매개 모형의 적합도가 양호한 것으로 나타났으며, 경로분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주요 변인들간의 상관관계 분석 결과, 진로장애, 대학적응, 진로몰입, 진로적응성 간 상관이 유의하였다. 둘째, 매개 분석 결과, 진로 적응성, 진로 몰입이 대학 적응에 유의한 영향을 미친다는 것이 확인되었으며, 진로장애가 진로적응성과 진로 몰입에 의해 완전 매개 되는 모형이 자료에 잘 부합되는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 진로장애가 진로 적응성 및 진로몰입을 매개로 하여 대학적응에 간접적으로 영향을 미친다는 것이 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 대학생들이 진로 탐색 및 결정에 있어서 장애의 경험 정도가 대학 적응에 영향을 미치기 위해서는 진로에 대한 몰입과 적응이 중요한 역할을 한다는 것을 시사한다. 이상의 연구 결과를 중심으로 대학생의 대학적응과 진로장애, 진로 적응성의 실제와 관련지어 논의한 후 연구의 제한점을 제시하였다.
