홀리스틱 교육의 관점에서 본 아동의 모 애착과 분노 간의 관계: 내면화된 수치심의 매개효과를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 초등학교 고학년 아동의 모 애착이 분노에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 두 변인 사이에서 내면화된 수치심의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경기지역 소재 초등학교의 5․6학년 남녀 학생 550명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석 결과 모 애착과 내면화된 수치심과 분노 간에는 유의미한 상관관계가 나타났고, 특히 모 애착은 수치심과 분노에 부적 상관을 보였다. 이는 어머니와의 정서적 관계가 소원할수록 자신에 대하여 부적절하게 느끼고, 분노를 느끼는 수준이 높은 것으로 볼 수 있다. 또한 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 모 애착과 분노 사이에서 내면화된 수치심의 매개효과를 검정하였는데, 내면화된 수치심이 모 애착이 분노에 미치는 영향을 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 어머니와의 애착관계가 잘 형성되어 있지 않은 아동은 수치심을 빈번하게 느끼고 이것이 다시 아동의 분노에 영향을 미치는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 상담현장에서의 함의를 살펴보고, 연구의 제한점과 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 덧붙였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediation effects of internalized shame in the correlations between maternal attachment and anger among upper graders in elementary school. A survey was taken among 550 fifth-grade boys and girls in Kyong-gi Province and total 502 questionnaires were used for analysis. According to research findings, maternal attachment showed overall significant correlations with internalized shame and anger. Maternal attachment had negative significant correlations with shame and anger with maternal isolation, one of subareas of attachment, most negatively correlated with the overall shame value. The findings indicate that the more isolated emotional relationships a child has with its mother, the more inappropriateness it feels for itself. That is, maternal attachment results in a higher level of shame and anger. In short, although maternal attachment has no direct impacts on anger, poorly formed attachment with mother can lead to shame, which in turn to anger.
