다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract) kakao i 다국어 번역

Much has been studied about the Party Strife during the Yi dynasty, but most of it seems not to have been put forth sufficiently in terms of concrete facts, partly because researchers have probably been too hasty in reaching conclusions about its cause and effect.
This paper aims at clarifying more concretely the facts about Yi Yul-gok, who is known to have acted as a mediator in party strife, and his attitude toward it.
First, I have looked into the beginning of the party strife; next, into the denunciations of Yi by his contemporaries, and third, his attitude; lastly, the sovereign, King Sonjo's attitude about it at the beginning of the party strife.
The party strife originated from ex-Prime Minister Yi Chun-kyong's last will and testament at his deathbed, the tenet of which may be summarized as follows: first, it is a prophetic opinion, very deliberate and full of apprehension about the coming of a party strife; second, it acts as a kind of catalyst which will activates the intensified party strife.
Yi Yul-gok had been donounced ten times during his life and posthumously, which may be classified into five categories; first being denounced while trying to mediate the party strife; second, denunciations due to misunder-standing; third, conflicts while trying to help talented persons; lastly, being suspected as Soin(小人), etc.
Also, unlike popular denunciations that he had been astute enough to seek wealth and fame while pretending to be unconcerned with the party strife, Yi Yul-gok did try to resolve the issues through self-sacrifice. It is right here that his true personality is revealed, and that people must have been given something to think about.
Lastly, the difficulty of resolving the party strife despite constant efforts of such mediators as Yi Yul-gok seems to have resulted from King Sonjo's vacillation, his inability to have a firm opinion as to the party strife, and his reluctance to have any faction preval in it.
