베트남인 학습자의 한국어 어두 파찰음 발음 유형과 음향적 특성 = Analysis of Pronunciation Types and Acoustic Properties in Korean Word-Initial Affricate of Vietnamese Korean Learners

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyze the pronunciation types and the acoustic properties in Korean word-initial affricates of Vietnamese Korean learners. There are three types of pronunciation in Korean word-initial affricates of Vietnamese Korean learners. First, it does not distinguish types of affricate, they are all pronouncing the same or show errors in all kinds of Korean word-initial affricates. In this type of learner, there is no difference in the types of affricates in both the duration of the frication and aspiraten, and f0 of the following vowels. The second type is a type in which the three types of Korean word-initial affricates are separated into two types. This type of learners distinguishes between two kinds of Korean affricates only by the duration of affricates(mainly duration of aspiration) without the difference in the types of affricates in the f0 of the following vowels. The third type is a type in which the three kinds of Korean word-initial affricates are distinguished from each other. This type distinguishes three types of Korean affricates through the duration of aspiration and f0 of the following vowels. However, unlike Korean, there is no difference among the types of affricates in the duration of frication, and the difference between the duration of aspiration and f0 of the following vowels is smaller than that of Korean. The results of this study can be applied to teaching pronunciation in Korean word-initial affricates of Vietnamese Korean learners. According to the learner-specific error type, the duration of the affricates and pitch of the following vowel can be appropriately guided.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 베트남인 학습자의 한국어 어두 파찰음 발음 유형과 그 음향적 특성을 분석한 것이다. 베트남인 학습자의 한국어 어두 파찰음 발음은 크게 세 가지 유형으로 나타난다. 첫 번째로 파찰음의 종류를 구별하지 않고 대체로 모두 같게 발음하거나 모든 종류의 파찰음에서 발음 오류를 보이는 유형이다. 이 유형의 학습자는 파찰음의 마찰구간 및 기식구간 길이와 후행 모음의 음높이 모두에서 파찰음의 종류 간 차이가 없다. 두 번째는 한국어 어두 파찰음을 2가지 유형으로 구분하여 발음하는 유형이다. 이 유형의 학습자는 후행 모음의 음높이에서는 파찰음 종류 간 차이가 없고, 마찰구간과 기식구간의 길이로 한국어 파찰음의 두 가지 종류를 구별한다. 세 번째는 한국어 어두 파찰음의 3가지 종류를 대체로 구별하여 발음하는 유형이다. 이 유형은 기식구간의 길이와 후행 모음의 음높이를 통해 한국어 어두 파찰음의 세 가지 종류를 구별한다. 하지만 한국인 화자와 달리 마찰구간의 길이에서는 파찰음의 종류 간 차이가 없고, 한국인 화자에 비해 파찰음 종류 간 기식구간의 길이와 후행 모음 음높이의 차이가 작다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 베트남인 학습자의 한국어 어두 파찰음 발음 교육에 활용될 수 있다. 학습자별 한국어 어두 파찰음의 발음 유형에 따라 파찰음의 길이와 파찰음 후행 모음의 음높이를 적절히 지도할 수 있다.
