독서치료 텍스트로서의 법구경 이야기 활용 연구: ‘무상(無常)’을 주제로 도리언 그레이의 초상 과 비교 = A Study on Dhammapada Aṭṭakathā as a Text for Bibliotherapy: Comparison with the Picture of Dorian Gray on the Subject of ‘impermanence’

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to read the Buddhist sutra from the perspective of bibliotherapyand to examine the ways to use them. Despite the many teachings of the Buddhist sutra thatcan be used for therapy, reading the sutra has been biased toward academic and intellectualaspects. When readers accept and utilize the teachings of the sutra for themselves, they canrecondition their life and achieve spiritual growth. So, Hynes & Hynes-Berry’s Biblio/PoetryTherapy-The Interactive Process-recognition, examination, juxtaposition, application to self- wasreconstructed as a sutra reading process. As a reading material, the subject of ‘impermanence’ inDhammapada Aṭṭakathā was analyzed in contrast with Oscar Wilde’s novel Portrait of DorianGray. Readers want to find the right solution in the process of reading literature and applying it totheir lives. If they can make changes by applying the teachings of the sutra at this time, they willbe healed. Based on this, I suggest a reading of Buddhist sutra as a psychological countermeasurein the Pandemic and Post-Corona era.
