예비 유아교사의 문화성향이 다문화 교육태도에 미치는 영향 = 다문화 감수성 및 다문화 교수효능감의 매개효과

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 예비 유아교사의 다문화 교육태도에 문화성향, 다문화 감수성 및 다문화 교수효능감이 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 문화성향과 다문화 교육태도의 관계에서 다문화 감수성 및 다문화 교수효능감의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 예비 유아교사 211명을 대상으로 연구를 수행하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 예비 유아교사의 문화성향은 다문화 교육태도에 영향을 미쳤으며, 문화성향의 하위변인의 영향력은 수평적 집단주의, 수평적 개인주의, 수직적 집단주의, 수직적 개인주의 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비 유아교사의 다문화 감수성은 다문화 교육태도에 영향을 미쳤으며, 다문화 감수성의 하위변인 중 문화차이 존중도가 가장 높은 영향력을 갖고 있고, 두 번째로 상호작용 주의도가 높은 영향력을 나타냈다. 셋째, 예비 유아교사의 다문화 교수효능감은 다문화 교육태도에 영향을 미쳤으며, 다문화 교수효능감의 하위변인의 영향력은 인간관계 교수효능감, 일반생활 교수효능감, 수업기능 교수효능감 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 문화 성향과 다문화 교육태도의 관계에서 다문화 감수성은 부분 매개효과를 나타냈다. 다섯째, 문화성향과 다문화 교육태도의 관계에서 다문화 교수효능감은 완전 매개효과를 나타냈다. 본 연구결과를 통하여 문화 성향, 다문화 감수성, 다문화 교수효능감이 다문화 교육태도에 미치는 직접적 영향을 확인하였으며, 문화성향과 다문화 교육태도의 관계에서 다문화 감수성 및 다문화 교수효능감의 매개효과를 검증함으로써 다문화 감수성 및 다문화 교수효능감의 교육적 중재의 중요성을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined how multicultural sensitivity and multicultural teaching competency influence the relationship between cultural orientation and multicultural attitude. For the purpose of this study, survey data from 211 early childhood preservice teachers were collected and analyzed. The result of this study are as follows. First, early childhood preservice teachers’ cultural orientation influenced multicultural attitude. Among cultural orientation’s subvariables, horizontal collectivism was the most influential predictor of multicultural attitude, and horizontal individualism and vertical individualism respectively. Second, early childhood preseervice teachers’ multicultural sensitivity influenced multicultural attitude. Among multicultural sensitivity’s subvariables, respect for cultural differences and interaction attentiveness were the most influential predictor of multicultural attitude respectively. Third, early childhood preseervice teachers’ multicultural teaching competency influenced multicultural attitude. Among multicultural teaching competency, efficacy on interpersonal relations was the most influential predictor of multicultural attitude, and efficacy on everyday situation and efficacy on instructional competency respectively. Fourth, multicultural sensitivity has partial mediating effect in relation between cultural orientation and multicultural attitude. Fifth, multicultural teaching competence has full mediating effect in relation between cultural orientation and multicultural attitude. This study confirmed the mediated effects of multiculturall sensitivity and multicultural teaching competency on the relationship of cultural orientation and multicultural attitude. Such results of this study addressed the importance of educational intervention of multicultural sensitivity and multicultural teaching competency.
