도시공간의 문화적 재생 사례를 통한 공간의 의미 재생산에 관한 연구 = A Research for Semantic Regeneration of Urban Area, through the cases of Urban Culture Regeneration

국문 초록 (Abstract)

산업구조의 변화, 도시공동화 등 급속한 도시변화의 요인들로 인해 기존 도시공간의 기능과 의미는 변화의 요구에 직면해 있다. 과거의 사회 구조에서 긍정적으로 형성되었던 시뮬라크르(simulacre)가 해체 혹은 붕괴되며 변형된 부정적 시뮬라크르를 긍정적으로 재생한 해외의 문화 재생 우수 사례는 우리 사회가 도시 공간의 재생에 있어 나아갈 방향과 방법에 대해 다양한 시사점을 제공한다. 그러나 우리 지자체의 사회적, 물리적 상황에 부합하지 않는 무분별한 외국의 문화 재생 사례의 벤치마킹은 오히려 역효과를 유발할 수 있음을 경험하고 있다. 따라서 우리 실정에 적합한 선별적 수용이 필요할 것이며, 본 연구에서는 이를 위해 독일 베를린(Berlin)의 우파 파브릭(Ufa Fabrik), 스페인 빌바오(Bilbao), 경기도 안산시의 성공 사례를 분석하여 긍정적인 시뮬라크르를 형성하는 의미자질을 추출함으로써, 우리 지자체가 외국의 성공 사례를 적용하는 데 있어 고려해야 할 전략적 기준의 예를 제시하고자 한다.

Due to changing industrial structure of our society and urban decline phenomenon by rapid urbanization, existing functions and significances of urban space is facing to demand of transition. Positive examples of rebuilding Simulacre from dissolved and collapsed past one gives us many implications. However, benchmarking without considering social and physical conditions of target urban site is accompanied by opposite effect. In this paper, from cases of Ufa-Fabrik(Berlin, Germany), Bilbao(Spain) and Ansan(Gyeonggi-do, Korea), semantic feature of positive simulacre and the opposites are analyzed out. And it is to provide one of various compasses considering strategic standards on Urban Regeneration policies of Korean local government.
