기초지방의회 만족도에 대한 영향요인 = A Study on Determinants to Citizen`s Satisfaction of Local Basic Assembly

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to evaluate and compare the activities of local basic assemblies, and analyzes how party participation, expertise, stipend of assemblymen and women, and activities of local assemblies influence satisfaction of residents in a jurisdiction, efficiency, achievements of local assemblies. Survey is conducted on local assemblies in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-Do, Survey results on achievements of local basic assemblies are summarized as follows. First, evaluation for activities of local assemblymen and women is low. Second, I analyze evaluation for activities of local assemblymen and women according to sex, age, and education level of assemblymen and women. Third, party participation, expertise, stipend of assemblymen and women, and activities of local assemblies are significant factors influencing satisfaction of residents. To improve achievements and role of local assemblies, vigorous activities of local assemblies, consistent party recommendation, expertise of residents, and practical salaries are required.
