유아의 도덕적 판단력의 발달 특징 및 공감능력과의 관계 = A study on the relationship between young children's moral judgement and empathy

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigates young children's moral development of personal, social-conventional and moral domains, as well as their empathy. One hundred sixty-seven children were assigned according to personal, social-conventional and moral events. To collect the data for this study the research used five criteria such as; non-permissibility, seriousness, rule independence, personal choice and generalizability, as well as empathy. Individual interview was conducted and the collected data were analysed by SPSS 12.0. The major findings of this study were as follows; First, there were significant differences in all three domains. That is, the score of the moral domain was higher than that of social-conventional and personal domains. Therefore, children could distinguish the events within the three domains. Second, there were significant relationships between the moral development of personal, social- conventional, moral domains and the children's empathy.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아들의 도덕적 판단력에 있어서 개인적, 사회 관습적 및 도덕적 영역의 범주별 차이 및 공감능력의 관계를 분석해 보고자 하였다. 연구대상으로 G시 W유치원의 4, 5세 유아 167명을 선정하였다. 자료 수집을 위해 도덕적 판단력과 공감능력에 대한 측정도구를 가지고 개별면접을 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 12.0으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 유아들이 세 영역의 도덕적 상황을 명확하게 잘 구분하였으며, 개인적 영역, 사회 관습적 영역, 도덕적 영역의 순서로 보다 더 엄격한 기준을 적용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 개인적, 사회 관습적, 도덕적 영역의 도덕적 판단력과 공감능력은 각각 의미 있는 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
