가정환경변인과 유아의 감성지능 및 도덕적 판단능력의 관계 = Relation of home environment and young children's emotional intelligence and moral judgement

This study aimed to answer two major questions. First, how environmental characteristics influence their EI and Moral Judgement? Second, What kind of relationship between EI and Moral judgement?
This study is based upon the research on 100 children under the age of 5 (52 male/ 48 female) from 3 educational institutions for infants located in Seoul, Suwon and Masan.
This study by two different data gathering methods: First method was surbey for mothers of target kindergartenders observed infirst direction interview. Survey questions were arranged to measure environmental ones, which included variables such as socio-demographic indicators, family structure, home environment indicators, total sum of education cost.
Second, child's abilities were tested through face-to-face interview. Two instruments were used; Emotional Intelligence using modified verson(contributors: Lee Young-seok, Lee Jung-hwa & Kim Mi-kyung, 2001)of Emotional Quotient Inventory(EQI) by Bar-on and Parker and test of the Moral Judgement of the children, based upon Piaget theory, Sharon, Nelson and Hebble made a survey of moral judgement testing of the children.
Data analysis used in this study are frequences, Pearson's R. stepwise multiple regression.
The result of the study were as follows : First, the variables influencing young children's EI were child-rearing attitudes of the mother and number of family members. Second, the variables influencing young children's Morality were child-rearing sttitudes of the mother and Grand-parents cohabitation. Third, the analysis on the correlations between EI and Moral Judgement demonstrates that positive correlations exist between the two(r= .757, p<.01).
