국공립과 사립 중학교 교사의 직무만족 구조 비교: 학교장의 지도성과 교사 효능감을 중심으로 = Comparing the Effects of Principal Leadership on Teachers` Satisfaction Through Teachers` Efficacy between Public and Private Middle Schools in Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to explore structural causal relationship among principal leadership, teachers’ efficacy, and teachers’ satisfaction. In this study, principal leadership was classified into task-oriented leadership and relationship-oriented leadership. The major research interest is to find the effects of task-oriented and relationship-oriented principal leaderships on teachers’ satisfaction through teachers’ efficacy between public and private middle school organizations in Korea. First, second, and third year data of the Korean Educational Longitudinal Study(KELS), conducted by the Korean Educational Development Institute, were used and analyzed by AMOS 18 program. The major research findings are as follow. First, in public middle schools, relationship-oriented leadership impacts on teachers’ satisfaction. While, in private middle schools, task-oriented leadership impacts on teachers’ satisfaction. Second, in public middle school, teachers’ efficacy on students’ life guidance impacts on teachers’ satisfaction. While, in private schools, teachers’ efficacy on teaching impacts on teachers’ satisfaction. Third, task-oriented leadership and relationship-oriented leadership have statistically positive correlations in public and private middle schools.
