유아 예비교사와 현직교사들의 환경교육 인식과 환경 친화적 태도에 관한 비교 연구 = A Comparison between Preservice and Early Childhood Teachers' Perceptions of Environmental Education and Pro-Environmental Attitudes

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study compares pre-service teachers' perceptions of environmental education and pro-environmental attitudes with those of early childhood teachers. The subjects were 171 early childhood teachers and 135 students majoring in early childhood education at 4 universities in G city and G province. Data were obtained through questionnaires, and a t-test was used to analyze the data. The major findings of this study are as follows. First, scores of perception and attitude in environmental education were revealed as average. Second, there were significant differences between pre-service and in-service teachers in terms of perception of environmental education. The perception scores of environmental education in in-service teachers were significantly higher than those of pre-service teachers. However, there were no significant differences between pre-service and in-service teachers in pro-environmental attitudes.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아 예비교사와 현직교사들의 환경교육에 대한 인식과 환경 친화적 태도를 알아보고, 교사 변인에 따른 차이를 비교하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 G와 M시에 소재한 유치원과 어린이집에 근무하고 있는 현직교사 171명과 유아교육과와 아동학과에 재학 중인 예비교사 135명이었으며 설문지를 구성하여 연구 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 유아교사의 환경교육에 대한 인식은 5점 척도 중 3.56으로, 예비교사에 비해 현직교사가 환경교육에 대한 인식이 더 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 두 변인 간에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교사의 환경 친화적 태도는 3.51로 나타났으며 현직교사가 예비교사에 비해 환경 친화적 태도 점수가 높은 것으로 나타났으나 통계적으로 유의미하지는 않았다.
