노인 부양스트레스가 가족관계 만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Effects of Care-giving Stress on Family Relationship Satisfaction

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to promote practical direction for increasing family relationship satisfaction and to reduce stress of family provider by grasping effects of care-giving stress which the family provider of elderly in the long-termcare on the family relationship satisfaction, and the results of study based on 332 family providers dwelling in downtown, Seoul is as follows.
First, in the effects of care-giving stress on the family relationship satisfaction, the economic stress and emotional stress has most effects on the family relationship, so it decreases the family relationship satisfaction.
Second, as the general characteristics of provider, in older of age, in unstable of living standards, in longer of elderly care-giving period, the care-giving stress increased, but better health condition of provider decreased the stress in the care-giving stress territory in general.
Third, the more aggressive coping strategy such as problem-focused coping and reconstituted coping strategy among the coping strategy of provider decreased care-giving stress and increased the family relationship satisfaction but negative coping strategy such as avoidance and escape and regressive coping strategy increased care-giving stress but decreased the family relationship satisfaction. It is required that increasing the family relationship satisfaction of provider by the development of intervention program about the family relationship satisfaction and decrease of provider's stress based on the causes of provider's stress.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 장기요양중인 노인의 가족부양자가 경험하는 부양스트레스는 가족관계 만족에 어떠한 영향을 미치고 있는가를 파악하여 가족부양자의 스트레스를 감소시키고, 가족관계 만족을 높일 수 있는 실천적 방향을 모색하기 위하여 서울시내에 거주하는 가족부양자 332명을 대상으로 한 연구결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 부양스트레스가 가족관계 만족에 미치는 영향은 경제적 스트레스와 정서적 스트레스가 가족관계 전반에 걸쳐 가장 높은 영향을 미쳐 가족관계 만족을 감소시키고 있었다.
둘째, 부양자의 일반적 특성 중 부양자의 연령은 높을수록, 생활수준이 불안정 할수록, 노인 부양기간이 길수록 부양스트레스는 증가하였지만, 부양자의 건강상태가 좋을수록 부양스트레스영역 전반에 걸쳐 스트레스를 감소시키고 있었다.
셋째, 부양자의 대처방법 중 문제 중심 대처와 재구성 대처와 같은 적극적 대처방법들은 많이 사용 할수록 부양스트레스를 감소시켜 주었고, 가족관계 만족은 증가 하였지만, 회피 도피와 퇴행적 대처와 같은 소극적 대처방법은 사용할수록 오히려 부양스트레스는 증가 하고 있었고, 가족관계 만족은 감소시키고 있었다.
이상의 연구결과에서 확인된 부양자의 스트레스 요인을 중심으로 부양자의 스트레스 감소에 관한 중재프로그램의 개발과 함께 대처방법에 대한 상담과 교육서비스를 실시하여 부양자의 가족관계 만족을 높여주어야 하겠다.
