「ガラスの假面」의 어휘와 표현 연구 : TV드라마의 교육적 가치를 중심으로

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The opening of Japanese culture has recently made it easy to see Japanese entertainments including animations, movies, and TV dramas and motivated Korean people to learn the Japanese language. Many researchers are competing to study on the utilization of those entertainments for the Japanese class.
This study is to select a Japanese TV drama 'Mask of Glass' and consider its value as an educational material of the Japanese class within the framework of vocabularies and expressions.
As 'Mask of Glass' consists of simple and interesting stories, every one of students and the general public can enjoy watching it and learn living spoken Japanese in various way. As the drama has few slang words and jargons unsuitable for the Japanese class, it could be utilized as good educational materials. Play-related words are frequently used as the drama is concerned with a play. In this respect, teacher's guidance is required.
First of all, the study on the vocabulary of 'Mast of Glass' was conducted by comparing 832 basic words for the 7th Japanese Curriculum and 7,800 basic words for JLPT I and II.
Twelve serials were analyzed. The result has revealed that one serial has 2,570 words and totally 19,847 words.
The basic words for the 7th Japanese Curriculum used in the drama amounted to be 538, 69% of the total 777 words (postpositional word and auxiliary verb exempted from the total 832 words). And those words were used totally 12,056 times in the dram, 61% of the total 19,847 words
The basic words for JLPT I and II used in 'Mask of Glass' amounted to be 1,851. Given that 2,570 words were used in one serial, 72% of those words are the same with basic words for JLPT I and II. And as those 1,851 words were used 17,897 times, the words usage is as high as 90% comparing with the total 19,847 words.
The results has shown that most of the drama consists of basic words required to learn Japanese as the second language. Accordingly, it shows that if an effective teaching method is applied it could be utilized as a good educational material for learning basic Japanese words.
In the perspective of spoken Japanese, the spoken Japanese words and expressions for the 7th Japanese Curriculum are evenly distributed in the dialogue of the drama. Some spoken Japanese words and expressions, not important in the textbooks, are used at the high rate in the drama. Most of them are used at the form of abbreviated expressions. While 「jouongka(拗音化)」 changing from 「で」 to 「しゃ」 and「 hatsuongka(撥音化) 」from 「の 」to 「ん」are scarcely found in the 7th Japanese Curriculum, totally 39 kinds of abbreviations including「 hatsuongka(撥音化)」, elision, 「jouongka(拗音化)」, and 「sokuongka(促音化) 」are used 1,625 times in various forms in the drama ‘Mask of Glass’.
Without the knowledge of abbreviations, it would be completely impossible to understand the meaning with a fundamental form. Accordingly, it is very urgent to understand and reflect the controversial issue in the future Japanese education.
Finally, it is expected that the study on ‘Mask of Glass’ in the perspective of vocabularies and expressions will be used as good references for words and colloquialism important in educating Japanese.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 일본문화의 개방으로 인해 일본의 애니메이션, 영화, 드라마 등의 영상물을 손쉽게 접할 수 있게 되었으며, 그 영상물의 시청이 일본어 학습의 하나의 동기가 되고 있는 경우도 많아졌다. 또한 이러한 영상 영상물을 일본어 수업에 도입하고자 하는 연구도 활발하게 진행되고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문은 여러 영상자료들 중에서도 일본의 TV드라마 「ガラスの仮面」을 선택하여 어휘적ㆍ표현적 측면에서 「ガラスの仮面」이 지니는 일본어 교육교재로서의 가치를 고찰해 보았다.
「ガラスの仮面」은 내용이 복잡하지 않으면서 흥미롭고 재미있게 구성되어 학생이나 일반인 누구나가 부담없이 시청할 수 있고 일상생활에서 흔히 쓰이는 구어체를 다양하게 접할 수 있는 자료이다. 또한 속어나 은어 등 외국어 교육 시에는 적당하지 않은 표현들도 거의 없으므로 일본어 교육 시에 유용한 텍스트로 활용될 수 있으리라 여겨진다. 그러나 연극을 소재로 한 내용이므로 연극 관련어휘가 다소 출현하고 있어 이 점에 대해서는 지도시 주의가 필요할 것으로 여겨진다.
우선 「ガラスの仮面」의 어휘적 측면에 대한 고찰은 「제 7차 일본어 교육과정 기본어휘 832단어」와 「일본어 능력시험 1,2급 기본어휘 7,800단어」와의 비교를 통해 이루어졌다.
「ガラスの仮面」의 12회의 어휘 분석 결과 개별어수는 2,570語, 전체어수는 19,847語로 나타났다.
「ガラス仮面」에서 사용된 7차 교육과정 기본어휘는 총 538단어로 나타났는데 이는 제 7차 일본어 교육과정 기본어휘 777단어(832단어 중 조사ㆍ조동사를 제외한 수)의 69%에 해당하는 수이다. 그리고 이 538개의 단어가 총 12,056회 사용되어 「ガラスの仮面」의 전체어수 19847개 중 61%를 차지하였다.
「ガラス仮面」에서 사용된 일본어 능력시험 1,2급 기본어휘는 1,851단어인 것으로 나타났는데 「ガラスの仮面」의 개별어수가 2,570語임을 볼 때, 「ガラスの仮面」개별어수 중 72 %가 능력시험 1,2급 기본어휘와 일치하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 그리고 이 1,851개의 단어가 17,897회 사용되었는데 「ガラスの仮面」의 전체어수 19,847에 비교해 볼 때 90%에 이르는 사용율을 보인 것이다.
이러한 연구 결과는 「ガラスの仮面」의 상당 부분이 일본어 학습에 꼭 필요한 기본어휘로 이루어져 있다는 것을 나타내고 있다. 따라서 효과적인 지도법을 도입한다면 기본어휘 학습에 큰 도움이 되는 교재로서의 이용 가능성이 충분하다는 것을 보여주는 것이다.
다음으로 구어체 표현의 측면에서 살펴보면 7차 일본어 교과서에서 다루고 있는 구어체들이 골고루 분포되어 있는 것을 알 수 있다. 그 외에 교과서에서 중요하게 다루지 않은 구어체들 중에서 높은 비율로 사용되고 있는 표현들도 다수 있었는데, 그 대표적인 것이 축약표현으로 나타났다. 7차 일본어 교과서에서는 「で」가 「しゃ」로 변하는 拗音化와, 「の」가 「ん」으로 변화되는 撥音化 이외에는 거의 다루어지지 않고 있는데 「ガラスの仮面」에서는 撥音化, 음의 탈락, 拗音化, 促音化로 대표되는 총 39종류의 축약표현이 1,625회에 걸쳐 다양하게 사용된 것으로 나타났다.
이와 같은 축약표현에 대한 지식이 없을 경우에는 어휘의 기본형을 알고 있어도 전혀 의미파악이 불가능한 경우도 생겨나게 된다. 따라서 이에 대해서는 앞으로 일본어 교육에 있어서 그 중요성을 인식하고 첨가하여야 할 부분이라 여겨진다.
이상의 어휘적ㆍ표현적 측면에서 본 「ガラスの仮面」에 대한 연구가 일본어의 교육시 중요하게 다루어야 할 어휘들과 구어체 표현에 대한 효과적인 참고자료로 이용될 수 있기를 기대해 본다.
