교사-아동관계가 아동의 학교적응에 미치는 영향: 아동 의사소통 능력의 매개효과와 성별 조절효과 = Analysis on the Structural Relation between Teacher- Child Relationships and School Adjustment of Primary School Students: The Mediating Effect of Children's Communication Ability and the Moderating Effect of Gender

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the structural relationships between teacher-child relationships, children's communication, and school adjustment and to investigate the mediating effect of children's communication among fifth-grade elementary school students. Additionally, we examined gender differences in these relationships.
Methods: For this purpose, data of 697 cases were analyzed using data from the 11th year(2018) of the Korean Children's Panel. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and structural equation were performed using SPSS 27.0 and AMOS 24.0. The measurement model was verified through confirmatory factor analysis and the significance of mediating effect was verified using bootstrapping method and multigroup analysis was conducted to examine gender differences.
Results: As a result of the analysis, First, it was found that As a result of this study, first, it was found that teacher-child relationships of primary school students have a direct effect on children's school adjustment. Second, the mediating effect of children's communication was found to be significant in the relationship between teacher-child relationships and school adjustment. Third, gender differences were found in the relationships between teacher-child relationships, children's communication, and school adjustment.
Conclusion/Implications: Based on this, it was confirmed that teacher-child relationships and children's communication are important factors that influence children's school adjustment, and that gender differences exist in these relationships. Finally, implications for improving teacher-child relationships, children's communication, and school adjustment were discussed.
