Practical proposal and implication of conducting this study is as below.
First, employment and job characteristic used as independent variable in the studies, were shown to have positive effect of organizational commitment as advance research also suggested. Not all employment characteristic factors and job characteristic factors had influence over organizational commitment, but some did.
Secondly, job security, relationship with coworkers and acknowledgement of one's own job all meant working environment. Therefore, companies should enforce regulations and adminstration on this issue.
Thirdly, it is believed that companies should provide plans to increase attachment through recognizing and fostering dignity of one's job in the organization, and also plans to administer such plans.
Thus, food service industry should strive to secure the competitiveness of the company through regulations and administrations regarding employment relationship characteristics and job characteristics in the long term, rather than focusing on short term plans.
