The aim of this study is to configure a taxonomy of noncognitive Interaction.
Following the spread of the internet,Smart devices have increasingly covered our lives. Human beings are now living in an era of tremendous information explosion. We live with numerous interactive targets nowadays, and there are many ways to interact with these targets. Being an interaction designer in this era, we need to clearly understand the existing methods of the interaction. While Bill Moggridge posed interaction design as a new discipline in 1984,it still hasn’t formed a structured framework.
We categorize noncognitive interactions through case analysis, and configurate the taxonomy of noncognitive interaction based on Object-Oriented View of interaction.
The framework gives a positive impact in the design process, interaction designers can clarify and broaden the scope of their idea thinking.
A study on the taxonomy of noncognitive interaction was the part we did not have a lot of attention in the existing interaction process. The study made this part more clearly. And it also help interaction designers to expand their roles in the development process of a products or services.
The taxonomy framework of noncognitive interaction might help interaction designers to design noncognitive interaction more clearly, it can also be applied to design cognitive interactions.
Finally we proof the framework with theoretical basis. Find out whether a reasonable basis on theoretical perspective. The framework is proved that can containing all noncognitive interactions. Each classification is independent, anyone do not contain each other.
