대학생이 지각한 부모의 음주, 음주기대와 문제음주에 대한 연구 -자존감과 우울의 매개효과를 중심으로- = A Study on Parents` Alcohol Use, University Students` Alcohol Expectancy, and Alcohol Use Disorder: Mediating Effects on Self-Esteem and Depression

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to uncover the relationships and correlations between parents` alcohol use, university students` alcohol expectancy, and alcohol use disorder. The sample comprised 230 university students. The data was analyzed by means of frequency, Pearson`s correlation, and multiple regression analysis, using the PASW. The major findings were as follows: parents` alcohol use was positively correlated with university students` positive alcohol expectancy, negative alcohol expectancy, and alcohol use disorder. Additionally, self-esteem was negatively correlated with depression and alcohol use disorder. Second, parents` alcohol use, university students` positive alcohol expectancy, negative alcohol expectancy, and self-esteem had a positive influence upon alcohol use disorder. Self-esteem had a mediating effect upon parents` alcohol use, alcohol expectancy, and alcohol use disorder. Third, parents` alcohol use, depression, positive alcohol expectancy, and negative alcohol expectancy had a positive influence upon alcohol use disorder. Depression had a mediating effect upon parents` alcohol use, alcohol expectancy, and alcohol use disorder. In conclusion, in order to reduce parents` alcohol use and university students` alcohol expectancy, it is important to intervene in university students` alcohol use disorder through special education programs and counseling.
