요양시설 노인의 입소상황요인과 삶의 만족도: 자아통제감의 매개효과 = Relocation Situational Factors and Life Satisfaction of the Elderly in Long-term Care Facilities: Mediation Effects of Sense of Control

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aims of this study were to examine the level of life satisfaction and to verify the effects of relocation situational factors on life satisfaction of the elderly in long-term care facilities and the mediating effects of sense of control between relocation situational factors and life satisfaction. A total of 456 cases of the elderly over the age of 60 who have lived at a long-term care facility for at least 6 months in 22 long-term care were used for analysis. Results showed that the level of life satisfaction of the elderly in long-term care facilities scored 3.09 out of a 5 points scale. Voluntary relocation, relocation stigma, difficulties in admission process, and sense of control had direct effects on life satisfaction. Sense of control was appeared as a mediator between voluntary relocation and relocation stigma and life satisfaction. Based on the results practical and political implications for improving life satisfaction of the elderly in long-term care facilities were discussed
