대학생들의 성인애착과 우울의 관계에 경험적 회피의 매개효과 = The Relationship Between Adult Attachments and Depression in University Students: The mediating effect of experiential avoidance

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The present study investigated the mediating effects of experiential avoidance on the relationship between adult attachments and depression in university students. A total of 282 undergraduate students participated in the study. Experience in Close Relationships (ECR), Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale(CES-D) and Acceptance & Action Questionnaire-16 (AAQ-16) were used for this study. Due to missing data, however, data from 255 students were analysed for descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling. Results indicated there were significant positive correlations between adult attachments (both attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance) and depression. However, there was a significant positive correlation only between attachment anxiety and experiential avoidance. Furthermore, the structural equation modeling results indicated that experiential avoidance partially mediated the relationship between anxiety attachment and depression. Implications for clinical practices and future research are discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생들이 경험하는 성인애착과 우울의 관계에서 경험적 회피의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구에서는 서울과 충청권 지역의 대학에 재학 중인 남녀 대학생 282명이 참여하였으나 불성실한 응답을 제외한 255명의 자료를 최종분석 하였다. 성인애착척도, 우울척도, 경험적 회피 척도에 응답한 자료를 바탕으로 기술통계와 상관관계를 분석하고, 구조방정식 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 성인애착 중 애착불안은 우울과 유의한 정적 상관을 나타냈고, 경험적 회피와도 유의한 정적 상관을 보였다. 애착회피는 우울과 유의한 정적 상관관계를 나타냈지만, 경험적 회피와는 유의한 정적 상관을 나타내지 않았다. 경험적 회피가 애착불안과 우울 간의 관계를 매개하는 구조모형을 검증했을 때, 경험적 회피는 애착불안과 우울 간의 관계를 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구가 상담 현장에서 가지는 의의와 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.
