대학생의 내현적 자기애와 우울의 관계:자기비난과 자기자비의 매개효과 = The relationship between covert narcissism and depression of university students: The mediating effect of self-criticism and self-compassion

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this research is to examine the mediating effects of self-criticism and self-compassion in the relationship between covert narcissism and depression. A total of 331 university students were asked to complete questionnaires. The results of this study are shown as follows. First, covert narcissism, self-criticism, self-compassion and depression all showed significant correlations between them. Second, covert narcissism was positively associated with depression, and self-criticism fully mediated the relationship between covert narcissism and depression. Third, self-compassion also fully mediated the relationship between covert narcissism and depression. This research will support the developing of intervention program for people who were suffering in covert narcissism. Finally, limitations of this study and suggestions for future research were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 대학생을 대상으로 하여 내현적 자기애 성향과 우울의 관계에서 자기비난과 자기자비의매개효과가 나타나는지를 검증하였다. 서울 및 수도권의 331명의 대학생(남학생134명, 여학생197명)을대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내현적 자기애와 자기비난, 자기자비, 우울은 모두 유의미한 상관을 나타내고 있었다. 둘째, 내현적 자기애 성향이 높을수록 우울수준이높아지는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 자기비난은 내현적 자기애 성향과 우울과의 관계를 완전 매개하고있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 자기자비 역시 내현적 자기애 성향과 우울과의 관계를 완전 매개하고 있는것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 내현적 자기애와 우울의 관계를 확인하고 자기비난과 자기자비의 매개효과를검증함으로써, 내현적 자기애 성향 내담자들의 상담적 개입에 도움을 주고자 하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의학문적 의의와 제한점 및 추후 연구 과제에 대해 논의하였다.
