내현적 자기애와 대인관계문제 : 자기자비와 내면화된 수치심의 이중매개효과 = The relationship between covert Narcissism and interpersonal problem : Double mediating effect of self-compassion and internalized shame

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 2, 30대 성인 남녀 500명을 대상으로 내현적 자기애, 자기자비, 내면화된 수치심, 대인관계문제의 상관관계를 확인하고, 내현적 자기애 성향이 대인관계문제에 미치는 영향에서 자기자비와 내면화된 수치심의 이중매개효과를 알아보고자 하였다.
본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내현적 자기애와 대인관계문제, 자기자비, 내면화된 수치심은 모두 유의미한 상관을 보여 변인들 간에 밀접한 관련성이 있음을 입증하였다. 내현적 자기애, 내면화된 수치심, 대인관계문제는 모두 높은 정적 상관을 보였고, 자기자비와 나머지 세 변인들과는 모두 부적 상관을 나타내었다. 둘째, 높은 내현적 자기애 성향은 높은 대인관계문제를 예측하였고, 이 둘 사이에서 자기자비와 내면화된 수치심이 순차적으로 매개하는 이중매개의 경로가 유의한 것으로 확인되었다. 그러나 예상과는 달리 수치심을 제외한 내현적 자기애와 자기자비, 대인관계문제의 경로에서는, 내현적 자기애가 자기자비에 부적인 영향을, 자기자비가 대인관계에 정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.
본 연구는 내현적 자기애의 대인관계문제 양상을 확인하고 이에 주요한 원인으로 작용하는 자기자비와 내면화된 수치심의 이중매개효과를 검증함으로서, 내현적 자기애 내담자들의 상담에 도움을 줄 수 있는 요소들을 밝혔다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to verify the correlation of covert narcissism, self-compassion, internalized shame and interpersonal problem and to identify the double mediating effect of self-compassion and internalized shame in the influence of covert narcissism tendency effecting on the interpersonal problem subjected to 500 male and female in their 20’s and 30’s.
The results of this study are shown as follows. First, covert narcissism, interpersonal problem, self-compassion and internalized shame all showed significant correlation to prove that there are close relationships between the variables. Covert narcissism, internalized shame and interpersonal problem all showed high positive relationships, and self-compassion showed negative relationships with other three variables. Second, high covert narcissism predicted high interpersonal problem, and the course of double mediation mediating in order by the self-compassion and internalized problem between these two was verified to be significant. However, unlike estimation, in the course of covert narcissism, self-compassion and interpersonal problem except shame, it was shown that covert narcissism had negative relationships to self-compassion, and self-compassion had positive relationships to interpersonal problem.
In this study, the aspects of interpersonal problem by covert narcissism was verified, and the double mediating effect of self-compassion and internalized shame that act as main causes to this was verified to reveal elements that can support the counseling of those with covert narcissism.
