학급 내 언어적 폭력의 내용 분석 : 부산시 남자중학교를 중심으로 = (The) Content analysis of verbal violence in the class : centered around boy's middle school at Pusan

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the content of verbal violence students do in a class. And based on the analysis, it suggests culture in the class.
To achieve the purpose of this thesis 196 students and 50 teachers in boys' middle school at Pusan were selected.
To examine the content of verbal violence, this study utilized questionnaire of open answer type composed of for students and for teachers.
The findings of the study are as follows
First, the findings on the content of verbal violence students do to students in the class are as follows :
1) Verbal violence was appeared not only to an individual students but also to social interaction among students and environment.
2) The frequency of violence about the attribute of an individual students was the highest and appearance or acceptance next.
3) Based on pattern and frequency of the verbal violence students do to other students, it is shown that there is a culture in which students think much of appearance and ability to study in the class. Besides, it is also shown that there's an atmosphere in which students exclude other students and become standardized in the class. Moreover, the fact that socio-economic environment of parents influenced students' life in the class was revealed.
Second, the findings on the content of verbal violence students do to teachers in the class are as follows :
1) Verbal violence was appeared not only to an individual teacher but also social interaction among teacher and students. But verbal violence to environment surrounding teacher did not appear.
2) The highest of frequency of verbal violence was that about attribute of an individual teacher and about correcting of students disruptive behaviors or ability to teach subject.
3) Based on pattern and frequency of the verbal violence students do to teachers, the fact that teachers was threatened about worth as teacher was revealed. And the evaluation about teachers' ability to teach subject was important. Besides, class breakdown caused by discipline problem appeared in the class and much more happening of disruptive behaviors was predicted.
