국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 초등교사의 소명의식과 행복의 관계에서 회복탄력성과 향상초 점의 매개효과를 검증하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 서울특별시 소속 초등교사 315명의 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 주요 변인들의 기술통계 및 상관관계를 구하고, 측정 모형 및 연구모형을 검증하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주요 변인들 간에 모두 유의미한 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 초등교사의 소명의식과 행복의 관계에서 향상초점의 부분매개효과가 확인되었다. 셋째, 초등교사의 소명의식과 행복의 관계 에서 향상초점과 회복탄력성의 순차적 부분매개효과가 확인되었다. 즉, 소명의식은 회복탄력성에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않고, 향상초점 수준을 높임으로써 회복탄력 성에 간접적 영향을 미치고 이를 통해 행복을 높인다. 본 연구결과는 초등교사의 행복 증진을 위해 소명의식과 향상초점 증진이 중요함을 시사한다.

• This research intends to verify the mediating effects of resilience and promotion focus on the relationship between the sense of calling and happiness. For the purpose of this study, the instruments which measure the sense of calling, happiness, resilience, and promotion focus were administered to 315 teachers from elementary schools in Seoul city. In order to calculate the descriptive statistics and correlations of the main variables and verify the measurement and research model, the results of tests were analyzed by SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 22.0. The findings of the analysis are as follows: First, each correlation between the sense of calling, happiness, resilience, and promotion focus was significant. Second, promotion focus had a partial mediating effect on the sense of calling and happiness. Specifically, promotion focus and resilience had a sequential partial mediating effect on the sense of calling and happiness. That is, the sense of calling does not directly affect resilience, but indirectly influence resilience by increasing the level of promotion focus. These results imply that it requires raising the sense of calling and the promotion focus to improve elementary school teachers’ happiness.
