대학생의 데이트폭력 편견이 데이트폭력 가해행동에 미치는 영향 = 폭력허용도와 관계갈등의 매개효과를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

대학생의 데이트폭력에 대한 편견이 데이트폭력 가해행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 폭력허용도와 관계갈등의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 부산?경남지역의 5개 대학에 재학 중인 대학생 604명으로부터 수집된 설문조사 자료를 토대로 구조방정식 모형검증을 실시한 결과 최종모델이 발견되었다.
분석결과, 대학생의 데이트폭력 편견은 세 유형의 데이트폭력 가해행동(신체폭력,언어폭력,성폭력)에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 데이트폭력에 대한 편견이 높을수록 데이트폭력 가해행동이 증가되었다. 또한 폭력허용도와 관계갈등의 매개효과를 살펴본 결과, 첫째, 관계갈등은 데이트폭력에 대한 편견은 세 유형의 데이트폭력(신체폭력, 언어폭력, 성폭력)에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 매개효과를 지니는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 폭력허용도는 편견이 데이트 언어폭력에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 매개효과를 지니는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 신체폭력과 성폭력의 경우 편견이 데이트폭력 가해행동에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 폭력허용도는 또 다른 매개변인인 관계갈등을 통해 간접적으로 매개효과를 지니는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 데이트폭력에 대한 편견이 높을수록 폭력에 대한 허용적 태도를 지니며 이러한 허용적 태도는 관계갈등을 증가시킴으로써 궁극적으로 데이트 신체폭력과 성폭력 가해행동을 증가시키는 것으로 보인다.
연구결과를 토대로 대학생의 데이트폭력 예방을 위한 방안으로 데이트폭력 편견해소를 위한 인식개선 교육, 데이트관계의 질 향상을 위한 상담프로그램, 데이트폭력 근절을 위한 관련법 제정 및 대학환경조성 등이 제안되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aims of this study are to investigate the effect of prejudice on dating violence, and to verify the mediating effect of the violence acceptability and relationship conflict. For data analysis, a structural equation modeling was used, and the final model was found. The data for the analysis were collected from 604 male and female students of five universities located in Kyungnam and Busan.
As a result of the analysis, it was found that the prejudice of dating violence had direct effects on three types of dating violence (physical violence, verbal violence and sexual violence). The higher prejudice was shown, the more violence was found. Also, violence acceptance and relationship conflict played a mediating role between prejudice and violent behavior. First, relationship conflict has a mediating effect between prejudice and three types of dating violence (physical violence, verbal violence and sexual violence), Second, violence acceptance has a mediating effect between prejudice and verbal violence. Third, violence acceptance has a mediating effect via relationship conflict between prejudice and two dating violence (physical & sexual violence). Higher prejudi cecreates the permissive attitude toward violence, this attitude increased relationship conflict; finally, this conflict has brought on increased dating violence.
Based on these results, as the ways to alleviate dating violence, educational programs to change the prejudicial attitude toward violence, counseling programs to improve the quality of dating relationship, laws and university environment development to prevent the dating violence were suggested.
