지역사회 기반 재난안전교육 연구동향 분석 = A Review of the Trends in Research for Community-based Disaster Education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The study analyzed disaster education literature to explore research trends in community-based disaster education. Both social and natural disaster factors were included for key-words search analysis and 130 articles that were published in Korean and English with no restriction on publication date were selected. 28 articles were used for final analysis based on the framework of educational content, methods, target, research methods, and related variables. First, while most of Korean disaster education consisted of general manuals, foreign education included disasters with high incidence in the area reflecting the characteristics of the community. Second, both Korean and foreign studies lacked consideration for the social vulnerable. Third, quantitative research was carried out in Korea and qualitative research in foreign countries. Fourth, related variables were divided into individual variables and community variables, and safety awareness was used as the main variable. Community variables consisted of formation of a safety community, resilience, and community engagement. Based on the results, suggestions were made regarding the research trends and future directions of disaster education.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 국내․외 재난안전교육 관련 연구를 분석하여 지역사회 기반의 재난안전교육 연구동향을 탐색하는 것이다. 검색어는 재난에는 사회재난, 자연재난 요소들을 포함하여 안전, 교육, 훈련 등을 조합하였고, 언어는 국문 및 영문으로 한정하여 연구논문을 수집하였다. 재난안전교육 전개과정을 개괄하기 위하여 문헌의 연도에는 제한을 두지 않았다. 총 130편의 논문 중 국내 9건, 국외 19건 등 총 28건이 선정되었다. 해당 문헌들을 대상으로 교육내용 및 방법, 교육대상, 연구방법, 관련변인 등을 토대로 연구동향 분석을 수행하였다. 첫째, 교육내용 및 방법에서 국내에서는 일반적 재난대응 사항으로 구성되었으나 국외 교육은 지역사회의 특성을 반영하여 해당 지역에서 발생빈도가 높은 재난 등을 포함하였다. 둘째, 국내․외 모두 재난취약계층에 대한 고려가 미흡하였다. 셋째, 국내에서는 양적연구가, 국외에서는 질적연구가 주로 수행되었다. 넷째, 관련변인은 개인변인과 지역사회변인으로 구분되었고, 개인변인은 재난안전의식이 주요변인으로 사용되었다. 지역사회변인은 안전공동체 형성, 레질리언스, 지역사회몰입 등이 주로 적용되었다. 해당 결과들을 바탕으로 재난안전교육 관련 연구동향 및 향후 연구 방향 등에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.
