대학생이 지각한 부모의 자율성 지지가 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향: 생애목표의 매개효과 = The Mediator Role of Life Goals in the Relationship Between Parental Autonomy-Support and Psychological Well-Being of College Students in South Korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 대학생이 지각한 부모의 자율성 지지, 생애목표, 심리적 안녕감 간의 관계를 알아보고, 부모의 자율성 지지가 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향에 있어서 생애목표의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 P시와 K지역 소재의 5개교 대학생을 대상으로 2014년 7월부터 9월까지 설문을 실시하였다. 회수한 자료 중 428 부(남학생 196명, 여학생 232명)의 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 본 연구를 위해 부모의 자율성 지지 척도, 미래지향목표 척도, 심리적 안녕감 척도를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0을 사용하여 기술 통계 및 상관분석을 실시하였으며, 생애목표의 매개효과 검증을 위해 Baron과 Kenny가 제안한 절차에 따라 위계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생이 지각한 부모의 자율성 지지, 내재적 생애목표와 심리적 안녕감 간에는 유의미한 정적 상관이 나타났고, 외재적 생애목표는 모의 자율성 지지 및 심리적 안녕감과 유의미한 상관이 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 대학생이 지각한 부모의 자율성 지지가 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향에 있어서 내재적 생애목표는 부분매개효과가 나타났으며, 외재적 생애목표는 매개효과가 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 내재적 생애목표가 부모의 자율성 지지와 심리적 안녕감 사이에서 중요한 역할을 한다는 것을 시사한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediated role of life goals on relations between parental autonomy-support and psychological well-being (PWB) of college students in South Korea. The research questions were as follows: first, are there any relations among parental autonomy-support, life goals, and PWB of college students in South Korea? Second, are there mediation effects of life goals on relations between parental autonomy-support and PWB? Participants were 428 (male=196 and female=232) college students in South Korea. Three measurement instruments were employed: the Autonomy-Support Scale, the Aspiration Index, and the Psychological Well-Being Scale. The collected data were analyzed by correlation analysis and mediation analysis. The results show as follows: first, there were significant positive correlations among parental autonomy-support, intrinsic life goals, and PWB. there were no significant correlations between extrinsic life goals and PWB. Second, through mediation analysis, there was partial mediation effects of intrinsic life goals(except extrinsic life goals) on relations between parental autonomy-support and PWB. These findings suggest that intrinsic life goals can ply an important role in the relationship between parental autonomy-support and psychological PWB.
