개인상담 수퍼비전에서 수퍼바이지의 수치심과 자기개방의 관계: 자기자비와 자기개념명확성의 조절된 매개효과 = The Effect of Supervisee’s Shame on Self-Disclosure in The Individual Counseling Supervision: A Moderated Mediating Effect of Self-Compassion and Self-Concept Clarity

The purpose of this study was to examine whether Self-Compassion would mediate the relationship between supervisee’s shame and self-disclosure, and whether such mediating effect would differ depending on the level of Self-Concept Clarity. A total of 373 supervisees who had recently engaged in individual counseling supervision (within the past year), completed a questionnaire probing Shame In Supervision Instrument (SISI), Korean Counselor Nondisclosure Scale (K-CNS), Korean Version of Self-compassion Scale (K-SCS), and Self-Concept Clarity scale. The main findings are as follows. First, supervisee’s shame, Self-compassion, Self-Concept Clarity, and self-disclosures showed statistically significant correlations. Second, Self-compassion mediated the relationship between supervisee’s shame and self-disclosure. Third, Self-Concept Clarity moderated the mediating effect of supervisee’s shame on self-disclosure via Self-compassion. The implications and limitations of this study are also discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 개인상담 수퍼비전에서 수퍼바이지의 수치심이 자기개방으로 이어지는 경로에서 자기자비가 매개 역할을 하는지 확인하고, 자기개념명확성이 이러한 매개효과를 조절하는지 검증하기 위해 조절된 매개모형 분석을 실시하였다. 이를 위해 최근 1년 안에 수퍼비전을 받은 경험이 있는 수퍼바이지 373명을 대상으로 수퍼바이지의 수치심, 자기자비, 자기개념명확성, 자기개방 수준을 자기보고식 척도를 사용하여 측정하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주요 변인 간 상관관계가 확인되었다. 구체적으로 보면, 수퍼바이지의 수치심은 자기자비 및 자기개방과 부적상관을, 자기개념명확성과는 정적 상관을 나타냈다. 자기자비는 자기개방과 정적 상관을, 자기개념명확성과는 부적 상관을 나타냈으며 자기개념명확성은 자기개방과 부적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 수퍼바이지의 수치심과 자기개방의 관계에서 자기자비가 매개 효과를 보였다. 셋째, 조절된 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 자기자비를 매개로 수퍼바이지의 수치심이 자기개방으로 가는 경로가 자기개념명확성의 수준에 따라 조절되는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 시사점을 논의하였으며, 후속연구를 위해 본 연구의 한계점을 제시하였다.
