학습기술과 대학생활적응의 관계에서 (학업적 유능성, 가족의 지지) 자기가치 수반성의 매개효과 = The Mediating Effect of (academic competence and family support) Self-worth contingency in the Relation of Study skill and College students' adjustment

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to test the mediating effect of academic competence and family support self-worth contingency in the relation between study skill and college students' adjustment. The study skill scale, the contingencies of self-worth and revised student adaptation to college questionnaire were administered to 739 college students in Gwang-ju and Jeollanam-do. Data were analyzed by correlational analyses and structural equation modeling(SEM). The results were summarized as follows. First, of the models with study skill as predictor, academic competence and family support self-worth contingency as mediator, and college students' adjustment as outcome variable, the partial mediation model fitted the data better than the complete mediation model. Second, in the partial mediation model, the path coefficients of 「study skill→(academic competence, family support) self-worth contingency」, 「(academic competence, family support) self-worth contingency→ college students' adjustment」, and 「study skill→(academic competence, family support) self-worth contingency」were all significant. Third, the mediating effect of (academic competence, family support) self-worth contingency in the relation between study skill and college students' adjustment was significant. Academic competence contingency was associated with poorer adjustment. However, family support contingency was associated with greater adjustment. Practical implications of the present findings were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 학습기술과 대학생활적응의 관계에서 자기가치 수반성의 하위요소인 학업적 유능성과 가족의 지지의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 광주광역시와 전라남도에 소재하는 3개 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 학생 739명을 대상으로 학습기술 척도, 자기가치 수반성 척도, 대학생활적응 척도를 활용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집한 자료는 상관분석과 구조방정식 모형 분석을 활용하여 검증하였다. 이 연구는 학습기술을 예언변수로 학업적 유능성 자기가치 수반성과 가족의 지지 자기가치 수반성을 각각 매개변수로, 대학생활적응을 결과변수로 설정한 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 두 모형 모두 완전매개모형보다 부분매개모형이 더 적합한 모형으로 판명되었다. 또한 학업적 유능성 자기가치 수반성과 가족의 지지 자기가치 수반성의 매개효과는 유의하였다. 단 두 매개모형의 차이는 자기가치를 학업적 유능성에 수반할수록 낮은 대학생활적응을 보인 반면, 가족의 지지에 자기가치를 수반할수록 높은 대학생활적응을 보였다는 점이다. 이를 통해 학습기술이 대학생활적응에 정적 영향을 미치지만, 어떤 영역에 자기가치를 수반하느냐에 따라 대학생활적응의 차이를 가져올 수 있음을 알 수 있다.
