실종아동 가족의 레질리언스가 가족 스트레스에 미치는 영향 = The Influences of Family Resilience of Missing Children on Family Stress

The purpose of this study was to identify what influences family resilience of missing children have on family stress. This study had three hypotheses in order to find out whether family resilience of missing children could positively alleviate and reduce family stress. To verify the hypotheses, 45 cases from National Center for Missing Children in Korea between 1986 and 2007 were used in the study.
The results of this study are as follows. First, communication process, group pattern, and belief system of missing children's family are higher than the mean. It can be interpreted that missing children's family have a lot of family resilience. Second, family stress are higher than the mean as well. It shows that financial burdens put the greatest strains on missing children's family. Third, analysis of the relationship between family resilience and family stress showed that family stress is meaningfully related to group pattern of family resilience. Fourth, analysis of the influence of family resilience of missing children on family stress showed that family resilience have influences of family stress, and especially faith system and group pattern turn out to be statistically meaningful factors.
As a conclusion, this study shows that family resilience of missing children influences missing children's families who go through various forms of stress after the children are missing, and strengthened resilience can actually reduce the stress in the families As a result, professional case management and establishment of infrastructure are needed to reduce the stress in the missing children's families.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 실종아동 가족의 레질리언스가 가족 스트레스에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 규명하는데 있다. 특히 실종아동 가족의 레질리언스의 어떤 요인이 실종아동 가족 스트레스를 완화하고 감소시키는데 긍정적인 요인으로 작용하는지를 분석하고자 하였다. 보건복지가족부 위탁 어린이재단 실종아동전문기관에서 1986년부터 2007년까지 관리하고 있는 실종아동가족 중 45사례를 본 연구의 분석에서 사용하였다.
연구결과 첫째, 실종아동 가족의 레질리언스의 의사소통과정, 조직패턴, 신념체계 모두 높은 수준으로 나타났고, 실종아동 가족들이 전반적으로 가족 레질리언스를 많이 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 실종아동 가족의 스트레스 수준도 높은 수준으로 나타났고, 특히 실종아동 가족이 가장 크게 느끼는 스트레스는 경제적 문제인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 상관관계 분석의 결과 가족 스트레스와 유의미한 관계를 가지고 있는 가족 레질리언스의 하위요인은 조직패턴의 연결성으로 나타났다. 넷째, 회귀분석의 결과 가족 레질리언스의 하위요인 중 신념체계와 조직패턴이 가족의 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
