병리적 자기애의 하위유형별 인지 위계: 구성주의 레퍼토리 그리드 기법의 적용 = Study on Cognitive Hierarchy of Pathological Narcissism Subtypes: Applying Constructivist’s Repertory Grid Technique

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 구성주의 자기 조직화 개념으로 병리적 자기애의 하위유형을 구분하고 각 유형별 인지 위계 특성을 살펴보는 것이 목적이다. 먼저 987명의 대학생 중 병리적 자기애 질문지 절단점을 적용하여 대학생 132명을 선별한 후 이 중 레퍼토리 그리드 인터뷰에 응한 95명의 병리적 자기애 웅대성, 취약성, 분화, 통합 점수를 군집 분석하여 하위유형으로 구분되는지 확인하였다. 그 결과 분화형, 웅대통합형, 취약형, 취약웅대형 등 4개 군집으로 분류되었다. 각 군집의 심리 정서적 특징에 대한 일원변량 분석 결과 4개 군집은 서로 유의미한 차이를 지닌 것으로 나타났다. 각 유형별 인지위계 특성을 검토하기 위해, 레퍼토리 그리드로 도출된 중심 구성개념을 웅대성과 취약성으로 평정하고, 일원변량 분석을 통해 각 하위유형별 중심 구성개념의 웅대성, 취약성 각각에 대한 강도, 기여도, 인접도를 확인하였다. 그 결과 각 하위유형들은 중심 구성개념의 강도와 기여도에서 유의미한 차이를 나타내었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의 및 연구의 제한점 등이 논의되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this study were to categorize subtypes of pathological narcissism and examine the cognitive hierarchy of each subtype. Out of 128 individuals who met the Pathological Narcissism Inventory cut off score, 93 subjects were selected through repertory grid interview. Cluster analysis using two factors from each category, cognitive contents (grandiosity, vulnerability) and cognitive structures (differentiation, integration) to identify how subjects are subdivided. As a result, four significant subtypes were verified: Differentiated, Grandiose Integrated, Vulnerable, and Vulnerable Grandiose. To investigate the cognitive hierarchical characteristics of each subtype, core constructs were drawn from the repertory grid technique and subsequently rated in two categories: grandiosity and vulnerability. One-way ANOVA was conducted to determine the influence on intensity, CTR, and distances of each core construct of subtypes. Results indicated that each subtype shows significant difference regarding intensity and CTR of core constructs. Implications and limitations of this study were addressed.
