아르헨티나탱고의 미학적 탐색 = Study on Aesthetics of Argentine Tango

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 아르헨티나탱고를 대상으로 하여, 이론적 연구의 현황을 인식하고, 그 지평에서 아르헨티나탱고의 미학적인 의미를 파악하여 아르헨티나탱고의 의미영역을 미적으로 확장하려는 의도를 갖는다. 아르헨티나탱고의 가장 큰 특징인 파트너와의 접촉과 강렬한 몸짓이 자아내는, 현란한 다리 동작으로 도발적이면서도 절제된 관능적인 동작은, 감상자로 하여금 섹슈얼리티를 느끼게 하는 동시에 그 이상에 것을 표현한 것이다. 즉 관능적인 동작에서 표현해 내는 미(예술미로서 ‘표현미’)의 기초위에서 이루어지는 것으로 더 깊은 미적 감흥을 일으킨다. 또한 아르헨티나탱고를 통한 타자와의 만남은 춤추는 상대방의 의미만이 아닌 그 이상의 의미를 가지고 있는 것으로, 그 예술적 성격에 비추어 운동예술의 하나로 보아 일반 미학이 자연미와 예술미 그리고 인간미까지 그 연구대상으로 하는 것처럼, 아르헨티나탱고의 미학 역시 광범위한 범위에서 자신의 미학을 꾸려 나갈 수 있음을 이론적으로 확인하였다. 그리고 아르헨티나탱고의 예술적 의미로 미학의 학문적 가능성을 열어줌으로서 예술로서의 아르헨티나탱고가 가지는 욕망과 애환은 바로 그 속에 더 깊은 의미를 담고 있는 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to extend conceptual fields of the Argentine Tango aesthetically by recognition of the present status of theoretical studies on the Argentine Tango and understanding on aesthetic meanings of the Argentine Tango in the fields. Such provocative, temperate and sensual movements, created with legs from communication between partners and intense gesture, as its most significant characteristic, make appreciators feel the sexuality and express something and more. In other words, it is based on the beauty ('beauty of expression' as beauty of art), expressed from sensual movements, that arouses more profound aesthetic inspiration. Moreover, the study has confirmed theoretically that, as meeting others through Argentine Tango has a significance of dancing others and more, the aesthetics of Argentine Tango, as one of kinetic art according to aesthetic characteristics, also can extend its own aesthetic field extensively, like general aesthetics regarding the beauty of nature, the beauty of art and humanity as well as objects of the study. Moreover, the desire, joy and sorrow expressed in the Argentine Tango has a deeper significance inside as the art, according as it leaves open the scientific possibility of aesthetics to aesthetic significances of the Argentine Tango.
