투사적 심리검사자료를 활용한 초보상담자와 경력상담자의 사례개념화 비교연구 = A Comparative Study on the Case Conceptualization through Projective Psychological Test Material between Beginning and Experienced Counselors

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to compare the case conceptualizations of beginning and experienced counselors through projective psychological test materials, and to investigate possible difference between the two groups in extend their case conceptualizations are consistent with the actual information of the client in case. To this end, 10 beginning and 10 experienced counselors were recruited through the snowball sampling method from private and public counseling institutions such as the College Student Counseling centers, Adolescent Counseling Centers in the B and G city. These two groups of subject were presented with various data of anonymous client, such as her personal and family information, and her test results of projective psychological tests like Kinetic Family Drawing, Thematic Apperception Test, and Sentence Completion Test. These case conceptualizations were coded and rated by 3 raters including the researcher on the rating guidelines by Kim(2001) and Lee(2001). Besides, the case conceptualizations were rated by the client concerning how much their contents reflect the actual situation of the client. The results of the study were as follows. First, the experienced counselors included more elements in their case conceptualization than beginners. Second, the experienced counselors had broader understanding of clients' current problem and symptoms and a more comprehensive understanding of personal characteristics and interpersonal factors of the client, than beginners. Third, the client rated the experienced counselors as excelling the beginners in that the case formulations of the experienced helped her explore more into unknown parts of the personality and represented more comprehensive understanding of her real personality.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 투사적 심리검사자료를 활용한 사례개념화에 있어서 초보상담자와 경력상담자 간의 차이를 비교하고, 두 집단의 사례개념화 내용이 내담자의 사실적 정보에 합치하는 정도에 있어서 어떤 차이가 있는가를 알아보기 위함이다. 이를 위해 B와 G시 대학상담기관, 청소년 상담기관, 사설 상담기관 등에서 상담을 수행하고 있는 초보상담자와 경력상담자를 눈덩이 표집의 방식으로 각각 10명씩 선정하였다. 이 두 집단에 익명의 한 여성 내담자의 기본적인 인적 사항과 동적가족화, 주제통각검사, 문장완성검사 등의 투사적 심리검사의 원자료들을 제시하였다. 이렇게 작성된 사례개념화의 내용은 연구자를 포함한 3인의 평정팀에 의해서 이윤주(2001)의 사례개념화 요소목록표, 김은혜(2001)의 평정매뉴얼과 평정지침서에 의거하여 두 차례 평정되었다. 또한 두 집단이 작성한 사례개념화의 내용은 내담자의 사실적 정보와 얼마나 합치되는지에 관하여 내담자에게 평정되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경력상담자는 초보상담자에 비해 사례개념화에 더 많은 요소들을 포함시키고 있었다. 둘째, 경력상담자는 초보상담자에 비해 내담자의 현재 문제 및 증상에 대한 폭넓은 이해와 내담자의 개인적 요인과 대인관계 특성을 잘 파악하여 더욱 종합적으로 이해하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 내담자는 경력상담자의 사례개념화 내용에서 자신이 미처 깨닫지 못했던 부분을 더 많이 탐색할 수 있었고, 경력상담자가 자신을 좀 더 종합적으로 파악한다고 보았다.
